we have patronized this vet since we moved to mount airy in 1998 with excellent service. we never had many problems with our cats, so did not have to go to the vet often. this is the last time we will ever go. my story follows - PLEASE READ-- i found a very young kitten on the blacktop parking lot of Aldis in westminster on tuesday, around 5:20. i took it back to my shop and called the vet. they said they close at 7 but they would squeeze me it. the kitten was obviously dehydrated and very weak, shaking and scared. i got to the vet before 6:00. the box i put the kitten in was empty. i searched my van in the vet parking lot for almost half an hour. finally i called my husband. while waiting for him, i went inside to let them know i was there but could not find the cat. when my husband arrived with a flashlight, he found the kitten inside the dash under a panel. we rushed it into the vets office at about 7:05. the receptionist went to ask if the kitten could be seen. she came out and told us that the vet agreed to see the kitten but we would now have to pay the emergency fee since they closed at 7:00 (there were people with a dog in the reception area and the doors were still not locked), she said we could also call tomorrow. i was immediately angry -- doesnt a person become a vet because they love animals??? i told the receptionist that the kitten could be dead by morning - just forget it. now i am looking for a new vet that actually cares about animals as much as their business. and the kitten is doing well.

When my older pug needed surgery for a Bladder Stones I was told by my vet I needed to take her to one of two places (both which quoted me thousands). My parents recommended Dr Maureen Sutton and she not only is such a caring vet but she is extremely competent. I was very worried because this was my first time meeting her and she was going to be operating on my beloved dog. She was honest and she doesnt price gauge which in an economy like this is so appreciated. On top of that she is kind and always follows up. I followed her to this practice (after months of trying to find out where she went from her last practice). I was pleasantly surprised that she came to this vet because everyone there is extremely nice as well. I have a vet within walking distance where I live yet Im driving 45 min because I trust Dr Sutton, this is totally the best vet Ive been too. Even the owner came out to introduce himself and not just said hello to me, he asked my dogs name and pet her. Love this place ❤️❤️❤️

Everything about our experience was wonderful. First, they were super upfront about cost and expectations which was awesome. Im always nervous about a new vet charging for crazy stuff. The staff also stroked my dogs ego to the max. They mustve told him 100 times that he was the "most handsome dog" as he was enjoying the pets from all of the staff It was so sweet. They took care of all shots, all recommend service, and a general check-up like a boss. Then, when they werent sure of my dogs particular behavioral issue, they researched it, contacted known behavior specialists, and gave me an open invitation to come back if their suggestions didnt work. It was so open and inviting. I really appreciated everything about my experience and trust them with my babies.

Had a cat who was viciously attacked by a fox. We were taken in immediately. Very friendly service and caring team. Our family isnt a member there but it made no difference. Spooky (the cat) needed surgery and several follow up appointments. The price was surprisingly low considering the amount of love and attention given to her. All appointments were made at our convenience. Spooky was seen in time every time. We never had to wait. Everyone was so friendly and understanding. We even got calls with updates during her surgery. Even though spooky is just a cat, the clinic treated her just like we do, as a member of our family. Loved this place. If any of our animals get sick or hurt again we will definitely be returning to this clinic.

While we have been using Taylorsville Vet for years and have always been pretty satisfied with our experience, I have to say our most recent experiences have far exceeded our expectations. Dr. Bray and Dr. Lucas are both very friendly and pleasant to work with, and Dr. Lucas did a wonderful job treating our dog after a recent accident with a utv. In my experience, the receptionists and techs are just as great! They make an effort to know us as more then just patients. AND from my experience, their pricing is best around for the services they offer! Currently, they seem to have a great team that works well together and I hope they will all be caring for our pets for a long time to come (less the tragic accidents, of course :)

My wife and I take both of our Pitties to Taylorsville. Owning 2 dogs that most people label as "killers" can make for difficulty finding a vet that allows them to step foot through their door. TVille welcomes both Bennett, and Diem with open arms! It also helps that we live only a few miles away. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff from the girls at the front desk, to ALL of the Veterinarians we have met. Both dogs are kept up to date on their shots, and also being registered! Very clean, and a large location that allows for the dogs to not feel so incredibly overwhelmed when taking the trip here. Highly recommend Taylorsville for any animal you may need to have looked at for emergency services, or routine check ups!

I was a new client at TVC, and we had to get in quickly since my dog was having stomach issues. Everyone from the front desk, to the techs, to the vet were so very nice! They explain everything thoroughly and even wrote all instructions down for me. My dog was on the mend immediately and it was not stressful for her at all. I need to update my pets vaccines, heartworm, etc...I will definitely continue with TVC as my vet clinic.

Dr P. is the best! Isabella, a 7yr old "kitty" had a bladder stone. We tried 2 different types of canned food that she wouldnt eat. Surgery was scheduled. Thankfully, a pre-surgical X-ray showed the stone had passed and surgery was cancelled. She is doing well and eating again. The front desk and Dr P. were awesome with a panicked kitten and a nervous mom. Web site to order products with free shipping is fabulous. Thank you to all!

Every experience Ive had with the doctors, technicians and reception staff, had been friendly, professional and caring. They are kind and patient with my impatient dog, and were fantastic when it came to surgery for my cat. Two completely unrelated incidents. Prices are fair too. Email and text messages to help me remember my appointments are always appreciated. Highly recommended.

We have used Taylorsville Vet for the last 28 years. The service has always been good. The staff is very friendly and good with our animals. If we have an emergency during regular business hours they always work us in. I really like the fact that if you bring multiple pets in at the same time you get a discount on all the pets after the first on. I would recommend them to anyone.
