Worst doctor I have ever experienced. Sarcastic & unsympathetic. Its obvious hes in it for the money. I dont even know how this guy is qualified to be a G.I doctor.. he told me the reason why Im severely & internally bleeding is because withdrawal from marijuana, mind you, I have never stopped smoking. Because it is the ONLY thing that soothes the excruciating, intense pain Im dealing with.... the hospital doctor prescribed me antibiotics but yet didnt have a legit reasoning, and it made me purge everything out (when I took the antibiotics I gained new symptoms, throwing up, cold sweats, rapid temperature change, and it worsened the bleeding.) I then went again to the same place, shady grove Adventist hospital in Germantown, and the other doctor questioned why that doctor would do that? & told me to continue taking them, just because the other doctor "mustve had a reason!" In his words. crazy right? [Dont go there either if it seems like it could be a serious condition and you have a choice] thats why I decided to stop taking those pills and medicate as naturally possible. Ive been sick for over 9 days. Been to the hospital 3 times. 2 different hospitals. I then scheduled an appt w Sekhon. I do not have insurance , thou I was more than willing to pay whatever fee, as long as they at least helped find out whats wrong w me.. I spent $100 up front to spend 5 mins w Sekhon just for him to tell me my previous endoscopy & colonoscopy was clear in 2014 from a previous sickness I have that Id been dealing w since I was 13, Im 20 and its 2017 now, mind you that never got fixed either. I kept explaining to him that this was a new thing Im dealing with! And completely different symptoms. If anything that sickness is getting worse and I basically pleaded him to show some type of empathy and actually care about the situation. Thats when he said "Ive seen that in a lot of younger kids today, withdrawal from smoking, etc etc. And thats long story short to what Im actually going through. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. He told me to take Metimusal (however you spell it). Which is technically healthy for your g.i tract, but it promotes using the bathroom. Every time I use the bathroom, I bleed bright red. I was 133 lbs before getting sick, I checked in at the hospital and weighed 127, 3 days later, at Sekhons office, I was 123 lbs. Its been 9 days now. Ive even been on a strict chicken broth and grape diet. Taking anti acids as well. Basically trying to keep myself functioning as much as possible. On bed rest though. My blooded and white blood cell counts are normal Shady Grove & Holy Cross said. Its not life threatening they say. But every day Im loosing weight. Its been 5 days since Ive seen the G.I. Im even skinnier now.. No one will help ... Im still trying. And like I said Ive dealt with Sekhon before, between 13 and now (20). Dont go there.

Horrible. Terrible. Wish I could give this doc ZERO stars. He is dismissive and arrogant. Never did he order any labs, never did he care to look at my prior reports. Like another reviewer, told me to eat prunes! He cost me dearly. Turns out, I have damage to my liver and pancreas from undiagnosed Celiac Disease. Sadly I cannot recover any time that was wasted "under his care". Its a disgraceful, shame! Im the one who now lives with the consequences of his errors.

I have not had any issues with the office staff, so I cannot comment on that. My wife and I have had only positive experiences with Dr Sekhon. In my opinion, he takes the time to listen to our concerns and questions, is very thorough, his explanations are very clear, and he discusses options and alternatives in a way that I understand.

There are few doctors as exceptional as Dr. Sekhon. From the moment he walks in the consultation, one feels calm and well taken care of. Dr. Sekhon takes the extra time to explain his thoughts about your concerns and to provide you with solid advice you can trust. I cannot recommend him enough.

My wife had chronic nausea. He pointed out that one of her prescribed medicines had nausea as a side effect! He switched her to another medication, and the nausea disappeared. He and his staff have always been very respectful.

I was scheduled to have a consult at 12:00 today. They called me while I was on my way there at 11:50 saying I was late and had to reschedule!!! I was almost there. I would rate this doctor as the worst possible rating!
