This is quite possibly the worst doctors office ever. I went here because I lived nearby in Southie - turns out the convenience in location wasnt worth all the other hassle this place has caused me. They are almost always late to see me for appointments and aside from the women who you speak with when you first check in (who are very nice), the nurses, additional staff and doctors I have encountered here are overwhelmingly cold and/or rude. More than once when I went in for various issues such as strep throat, I was basically treated like I was faking sick at the school nurse and my complaints brushed off... until my strep test came back positive... I dont know if they realize that I dont enjoy taking time out of my work day to go to the doctor when Im not feeling well. What bothered me even more was their constant lack of communication. They would never call you back to confirm a prescription was sent to a pharmacy or regarding appointment requests - I always had to hound them. When you do finally get a chance to speak with someone, you are told a different thing by each different person you speak with not to mention transferred 3 times, many times back to the same person you started speaking with in the first place. I wish I was exaggerating this, but Im not. Even if you live nearby, its worth looking at other options that might be more of a trip to get to - this place isnt worth the headache for so-so care.

Even the 1 star is too much for this place. Somebody has to tell to the guys who work there that they have to show more respect about the patients. They talk to you like their are paying money to you and no as they should talk to you as their customers. Anyways, I dont understand why we still use places like that for our health. MA is one of the best state in health care provider, but this place just give a bad review to it. What about? My wife had an appointment at 13.40pm and the doctor finally came around 14.20pm. This is not the 1st time. What happen to me? I had an appointment and I arrived there 2 hours early (I was driving in the area and I said let me ask maybe they can accept me now) so they told me yes we can do it now. I was with my 1year old baby and I said that if you dont have time now I will come later (at my appointment s time) no dont worry they told me, we can check you now. Finally I waited there for 1 hour and 30 min until the time went 4pm. The baby was crying because he was hungry and I told them that I need to go home can the doctor see me know? No you have to wait your time they said. And they said was my fault because I went earlier there. Thank you south boston Community health center. Next time show some respect, at least for babies.

Never expect a call back or assistance from these people, I have had an issue with my calf muscle for two weeks and still have had no resolution/diagnosis. I have had to call several times a day and have been greeted with attitude, and incompetence. I just was hung up on for asking for clarity on what I was to do next. Several times during calls Ive had to repeat the purpose of my call, name, birth date, and doctors name over the course of one conversation. It makes me sick the negligence they have for patient support at the front desk. My experience with the doctors have been fine but my last experience with this injury has been traumatic, I hope that my leg injury doesnt affect me permanently, I still dont know what the problem is these people make it so difficult to receive help!

Worst service ever, called various times to get my lab results and took them a month to get around to getting them even though they were ready within 24 hours. Additionally, I was transferred multiple times from one department to another and put on hold various times. It was not until i got very nasty that I was able to get an actual person to answer my questions. To sum up my experience, very attentive doctors, but forget about getting the results to your lab work or even getting humans to answer the phone. Health Center service is sub par. Currently looking for another GP.

Billing department is a joke . Had receipt for copay pay front desk . Took year or more to fix problem. After problem with bill was there fault. Heath center sends bill to collections company. With in month. Call the day received bill was tolod head of bill in conference call said would wait was rudely hung up on . Call back 10 minutes later said she went home for day . You would think I would be a priority. By other reviews I am not alone issues with Heath center. Would no go there if I had a heart attack in front lobby. To be continued....

Went in about 2 weeks ago, to get my lenses put into my frames and gave them a notice that I will be leaving the country in 2 weeks times, they told me itll take 1-2 weeks to get them done, its been about 2 weeks and a half and i have not received any notification about my glasses. I called them in today having said im leaving the country tomorrow, and all i got was "i dont know how to help you." Horrible costumer service. horrible staff! NEVER AGAIN.

Unfortunately, this is one of the bad ones. I have never felt so poorly treated in my life. After having my old office fax over my medical records I thought it would be simple to fill the prescriptions I had been on over the years. I was very wrong. I was treated as though I was a drug addict and shunned into a private room to be told my medication would not be filled.

I was a little hesitant about coming here as a patient based on the reviews I read, but I actually found it to be an overall normal and easeful experience. Check-in and payment resolution was easy for me and the doctors that I saw were professional and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Thieu for female health. She was so sweet and I instantly felt at ease under her care.

Unprofessional behavior between co workers in front of other patients. Not comfortable with my information being secured. Management is very unorganized and very bias. I wait on hold for over a half an hour to schedule an appointment. Would not receive services from the Dental department. Unprofessional staff. The practice manager Belinda is a joke

Waiting almost three weeks for the results of a nuclear stress test my doctor ordered because of chest pains and a heart murmur. After almost three weeks I still havent gotten the results I was told Id have in three days. When I call, I end up on hold for so long I have to hang up and go back to work.

The eye clinic here sucks. They literally sent me home with the wrong pair of glasses. Even if you are on mass health avoid this place.
