Samurai Storm
I wanted to share my story with everyone. Back in 2013 I went into Lowell General with pain on the left side of my body. It got to the point where I asked my boyfriend to take me to the hospital. After a three hour wait I was seen and a x-ray done. For whatever reason they only thing that was seen was spots on my lungs. I was in so much pain. It felt like stabbing every-time I took a breath. I had also told Lowell General that I just had a x-ray done not even two hours prior at my PCP (Harvard Van Guard) PCP was Dr. Wen Lee, She supposedly at the time was going to be calling Lowell General and letting them know I was on my way. And let me just say no one call was made and no one knew i was onmy way! Shocking I think NOT! I was mocked, and told that I was having a panic attack by both the male nurse and the doctor who so kindly went out of their way to point at the monitors as if I was a child while proceeding to tell me it was all in my head. The following day I followed up with my Lung Specialists-Merrimack Valley: Goldberg Beverly A MD who took one listen and had me go right over and have a CT scan done and found that I had pneumonia in my left lung! Thanks the Gods and her actually knowing what she was doing otherwise who know what would have happen. I have heard horror stories from so many people about Lowell General and Saints its almost unreal. I actually have made friends from others who have had other things happen to them and almost died by going to Lowell General. I friend of mine Steven G Luppold Jr went to Lowell General with pains in his legs. He was looked at like a druggie and told that nothing was wrong with him. to sum things up he later went to Lahey Clinic In Burlington, MA they found over 10 blood clots in his left leg! Please tell me how you miss 10 BLOOD CLOTS! I could keep going with horror stories but Ill end my rant there. If you need help DO NOT GO TO LOWELL GENERAL and if the ambulance tells you they cant drive you out to Boston, MA then you find one that does. Do not risk your life or anyone else because Lowell General wants to hire nurses who barley made it out of college so they can save a few dollars. In my 20s I dated a doctor who worked at Lowell General right after he got out of college. Word for word out of his mouth he told me he had to leave the hospital because of all of the shady things they do! He wanted me to move out to Washington with him where he got a new job. I split up but he still talk via email. The things that go on would blow some peoples mind and you would think we where still in the 1960s.

Pre/registered on 3/31/17 with orders that were faxed over from my Dr.I had 3 services to be done I then called to see if i could get one test done earlier in the day to hear NO ORDERS were called in,So for day after going back n forth w/ my Drs office and to hear "from the people " I have names dates time all documented AGAIN no orders here sorry!!!!So AGAIN called my Drs office and the NP called herself to verify the fax info for these 3 services etc ...on 4/19/17 i arrived @ 10;33 a/m to sign in and AGAIN sorry we only have an order for ONE service. So i was called for insurance info and AGAIN no sorry only ONE order .after 16 minutes My orders were found.I had the first test done @ 11;14 a/m proceeded to go to the lab i was handed a beeper ,,10 minutes then 1/2 hr then 55 minutes later w/ NO/ONE ahead of me i asked the receptionist Why am i waiting an he for blood test .I was told I have no idea go ask yourself the first door on right,I then went right into the lab to find 3 techs doing NOTHING and one of them behind the desk saying Oh i have your order here but she is taking someone now you will be right after,I refused to wait another second. The tech that drew my blood was HONEST enough to tell me from now on when you have orders from your Dr get them on paper do not have them faxed for the reason this is an on going problem. So now i had 2 out of 3 services done and it was 1;10 p/m and i could NOT have my EKG done due to the fact i would miss my ride home. The service is DISGUSTING .I never seen so many "working " techs receptionist doing NOTHING!!!.I have been keeping a log on the "so called services" from these hospital BOTH branches since they sent me home w/ extremely high b/p from the ER and I woke up blind and had SEVERAL seizures back in 8/16 .BOTH LGH and SAINTS CAMPUS care is in HUMANE and disgusting.I have no choice to go to these local "so called ", hospitals.I know have a "logged file on the care /dates /times /and people i speak to .Now the rotten care i received was a drop in the bucket compare to SEVERAL other peoples experiences. Its TIME as WE the patient and i will add EXTREMELY sick people STAND UP FILE COMPLAINTS ,In which i have and never ever even a phone call back

I have never written a review in my life but my experience today at Lowell General Hospital was so bad I feel as though I should warn those who might be sent there for care. My wife was taken to the emergency room for an overdose of pills. The care in the emergency room was unprofessional and sloppy. The emergency room was not busy at the time, but when I arrived at the hospital, frantic to see if my wife as alive, I had to ask 4 times to see a nurse before anyone would even come over and speak to me. The nurse taking the blood work was a butcher and her work was not clean, leaving dirty papers and medical scrap on top of my wifes blankets after she withdrew a sample of blood for tests. I had to remove the debris by myself. Then they came back again for more blood, but refused to say why the first sample was not sufficient. Normally I would give the nod to the hospital and understand that sometimes more blood is needed, but not with these people. Most likely they made a mistake and needed to draw the blood again. We have 4 small children so I had to go back home around 5.00p.m. to make them dinner, bath them, and put them to bed. When I arrived back to the hospital at about 9.20p.m. to check on my wife, the nurse on the 3rd floor two times refused to let me go see my own wife. Is this a normal occurrence now with hospitals? I have never experienced that before. Seven years ago my father had open heart surgery at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, and I slept on a couch in his room every night for the two weeks that he was in the hospital. The nurses were very caring and never even questioned me being there to help watch over my dad. These people locked the doors downstairs and refused to let me up to the third floor to check on my wifes condition. Lowell General Hospital is a disgrace. I would advise you not to even take your dog there for medical care. I will never go there again after I check my wife out of there at 9.01a.m. tomorrow.
