This place has jerked me around worse than a wooden roller-coaster. They prop me up with false hopes and promise follow-up calls, only to deny all prior claims, accuse me of being a liar, and every single secretary, manager, and patient advocate that I spoke to contradicted each other. At one point, my doctor literally *hung up on me* while I was in the middle of explaining a desperate situation, and the patient advocate department seemed to be no help. I call pretty much weekly to follow up because I almost never get the promised return call, and I am usually answered cordially and asked to hold, then a triage nurse answers. They literally pass me off rather than speak to me. The latest development is a violation of my patient confidentiality laws, and they transferred my info *without my consent or knowledge* to another facility. The manager, Andrew, told me that himself, and acted surprised that I had no knowledge of the transfer. I never consented, or even suggested transferring my records. To say this facility is a dog and pony show is still giving it too much credit. These "doctors" do not care about me as a patient or a human being. They do not care that they are creating an impossible situation for patients to navigate. And they absolutely do not care about legal issues. They continue to to pass the buck and cover their butts. They even ammend the transcripts of thr calls to make themselves look better. They litetally *do not* log a *recording* of the call, but rather a *summarized transcript* of what was said. So, legally speaking, they can present the conversations in a very different light than the reality of the conversation. This has been my experience and it boggles the mind. This facility is a joke.

Today is the last time Im ever coming here. Besides the sub standard care, you wait forever and pay for a parking garage in Burlington while you wait. Had to come to the walk in clinic because of conjunctivitis, 90 minutes later Im waking up from a nap in an exam room. But heh, Im next so any hour now.....I just need some freaking eye drops, not a hip replacement..... I should have listened to myself but Im changing doctors today. These folks are criminals. The manipulated billing and attitude are over the top. My primary care doctor has her office here but Everytime I got blood work or an x-ray it was billed as a hospital service similar to me going to an ER. You make your patients pay to park in Burlington, MA which is absolutely ridiculous. The ER does not have qualified medical professionals - my wife was told that "maybe they should send her over to Winchester" but then kept her, called her doctor (not at Lahey), followed that doctor directions, and then sent us a separate bill for "observation" in addition to the ER charges. Awesome, I get to pay an ER deductible and an extra $700 because your attending physicians didnt know what to do. What did she needed - IV fluids because of morning sickness and dehydration which we have had at 3 other hospitals over the past 7 years with no "observation fees". Dont go here, horrible money shaking business.

Been there twice, once for dislocated shoulder once to get a cyst injected with cortisone. Dislocated shoulder was truly a nightmare. The lack of professionalism was horrifying. 1. Wheeled me to get xrays before nurse gave painkillers. 2. Dr failed to put shoulder in after 10 plus attempts 3. dr tried to inject some muscle relaxant tried 5 more times still failed 4. put me to sleep to try, i woke up and he still had failed after trying god knows how many times 5. Finally, after lying there for awhile some specialist came over and fixed it in 5 minutes after Id been there for almost 9 hours. Gave me more painkillers fell asleep 6. I woke up they had literally wheeled my bed to the exit and left me there unattended. As soon as i was concious and got someones attention the paperwork man came rushed me through paperwork and out the door Getting the cyst injected with cortisone, worked out pretty well but only because I knew what I wanted and how to ask for it. If i had just gone in and asked for help they would have read my the first page google results and had me on my way. All in all im sure there are a few true professionals but most of the people seem like untrained civilians with access to medical equipment.(except worse because of their overconfidence) Huge risk going there if you dont specifically know who youll be dealing with.

I came to Lahey with my niece yesterday for pretesting for her upcoming knee surgery first we went to admitting then to the third floor for xrays which took an hour then to the second floor for blood work which was quite an experience then back to admitting at which time they actually signed her in took another 3 hrs.We spent 8 hrs in the hospital for a two hour surgery.I have been in the medical field for more than ten yrs.never have I seen such a total mess. I have no faith in this hospital .Needless to say my niece will not be having her surgery here.Did you ever hear the saying too many cooks spoil the soup? I have never seen such a wastefulness as far a jobs go it took 7 people to do a job that one person could have accomplished.I will tell everyone I know about this horrible experience. And will never recommend anyone have any procedure at this hospital.I think that you should take a very close look at the way things are being done here.Maybe your employees should read the patient privacy policies. And then treat your patients with the kind of compassion and care they so deserve instead of treating them like cattle this is a medical facility not the registry of motor vehicles!!!!!!

The good, the bad and the ugly... The good is the staff that I have dealt with over the last 10 years. Dr.s and Nurses are great! The bad is their emergency room compared to other hospitals in the area. The ugly is their new computerized system to make appointments. I have been trying to reach a department for two days to make an appointment. Yesterday, I was on the phone for over 20 minutes. At exactly 4pm, I was hung up on. Today, I have been waiting for over 10 minutes now, and keep getting the, "We are sorry...blah, blah, blah". Is there really an access representative?? What does shortly mean? 30 minutes, 1 hour, more? Seriously thinking of changing hospitals. This is ridiculous. UPDATE: I called and complained that over the last two days, I have spent almost 1 hour of on hold time waiting to make a stupid appointment for a simple shot. I was told that didnt make sense and to hold on, she would get me to the right person....AND....here I am in the same endless loop....UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Terrible clinic ever... Nurses and secretaries are not nice and give poor service. I ordered my lab work and other things, and when I showed up, it wasnt put in because doctor found that my last test work was less than a year ago and the nurse left a message about this cancellation to one of my emergency contacts, which wasnt delivered to me.. why would they call and leave messages like this to an emergency contact when my cell and my work phone are totally available?? Their service is just stupid and they dont even have a clue what they did wrong... No apologies. My PCM, Dr. Chen... not impressive either. When I called for my flu, only thing she said, "drink lots of ginger tea, do nothing, just rest, drink lots of water..." Well... you know what?? Everyone knows about that! I didnt take my time to call to hear that. The whole experience with them is just waste of my time.
