My daughter was brought to this Hospital while on vacation in Massachusetts my ex-husband and I left her for a few hours while she was in the emergency room She was breathing ,she was talking, she was walking she was wide awake! We went back a few hours later and they told me that she was on life support and in the ICU unit and they had her heavily sedated on Fentanyl and Propofol !!! We asked what happened and they said that she knew what was going on and she signed the papers to have her self put on life support! No one believed that no one at all believe that!!! S he was fine when we left her she should have come home a few hours later!! She laid in that hospital for 6 weeks!!! 6 weeks without getting up being moved!!!!!! They kept pumping her full of this crazy drug to keep her sedated I saw her she was absolutely bloated her arms were swollen her feet were swollen her hands were swollen it was totally disgusting I asked why and they said oh its the nature of the disease she had Mac which is in her lungs and on top of that she had pneumonia!!! We asked if they could ease up on the medicines they said no little did we know that while she was in that hospital she had two Strokes!!! We were only told of one !!!!!!!! After several weeks of watching my daughter wither away a doctor came up to me dr. Deshpande or whatever his stupid ass name is and demanded I sign a DNR I absolutely freaked out he would chase me down in that hospital when he saw me and told me by three on this day you have to have it signed!!! I got in touch with my son-in-law he flew up and he absolutely refused to sign it as well and between family members and my son-in-law and myself we demanded my daughter be moved to Brigham and Womens Hospital they immediately came and got her and immediately began the process of bringing her out of the coma that she was in for 6 weeks they even said that was way too long and they couldnt figure out what this hospital was doing in the long run my daughter is now home she is with her family all thanks to the staff the doctors of Brigham and Womens Hospital and the rehab center as for Framingham MetroWest Medical Center it should be closed down because Ive spoken to a lot of people and it was because my daughter had no insurance that they just wanted to give up on her and thats wrong you take an oath to save somebodys life and give the best care possible they did not do this I suggest everyone stay away from Framingham MetroWest Medical Center and I do not want anyone corresponding to me from that hospital about my opinion my opinion is worth voicing if it can save someones life !!!

I have no complaints about the healthcare providers at this hospital. The administrative staff are the ones I have to deal with most often, and they have caused so much turmoil in my life that the 5 star rating I would have given the providers is dragged all the way down to 1 star, and would be even less if that was possible. MetroWest just isnt worth the heartache they have put me through, no matter how good the medical staff is or may be in the future. MetroWest happens to be the closest hospital to my home, but I currently receive care at several hospitals, including Brigham and Womens. Over the course of my lifetime I have required care at quite a few hospitals, including Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital, Johns Hopkins, and many others. At most hospitals, even the huge ones, I dont encounter any problems with the administration staff. Of course small problems do pop up every now and then with others, but nothing that has ever caused me stress and anger anywhere near the level I have experienced at the hands of the administrative staff at MetroWest. I have heard a few times that the Natick branch of MetroWest is a better hospital overall than Framingham. I have only visited Framingham. Natick must be under the same administration, and assumedly demonstrates the same corporate culture when it comes to managing patient accounts, so I will never know if Natick is better as I will never set foot in either of them again. I wish I could describe the details of what has happened to me, but it has to do with information which I am unwilling to detail in a public forum, and a situation which now will most likely only be resolved with the intervention of an attorney acting on my behalf. Lord knows the MW staff will not solve it on their own. If you are uninterested in the cost of health care, and are never unable to pay a balance in its entirety, you shouldnt have any problems with this hospital. They would certainly never treat a wealthy person with the disregard and dismissive behavior I have received. In closing, if youre not always able to pay medical expenses in their entirety when the bill arrives, I would suggest you avoid seeking care here. Boston is only 30 minutes away, so if it isnt an emergency, take the time to go to a place where the administration is run by more pro-active, competent and compassionate people.

Was brought in for difficulty breathing, my parents were told to go home and I would be fine after receiving oxygen, my parents return and the dr told them I was in ICU and I knew what was going on with me, my parents did not understand because I was up and breathing fine a few hours after I came to the er. I was placed on a ventilator, given 70+ doses of propofal and fentonyl to keep me in a coma even when I woke up they would put me back under, this went on for 5 weeks in a coma lost 20 lbs the dr chased my mother down the hall waving a DNR paper at her telling her she needed to sign it and she refused well my husband was on his way back to mass from where we live and when he arrived the dr told him to get my kids to the hospital because I wasnt going to make it well my husband told him that I was a fighter and I would make it but the dr named dr Deshpande had no faith in human life and kept on saying I was going to die so my husband said he was taking me out of that hospital and he had me transferred to Brigham and womans and when I arrived they woke me up from that induced coma after 6 weeks and here I am today alive no thanks to MWMC or dr DESHPANDE. After 6 weeks in a coma with a tracheotomy 6 blood transfusions they could never explain a authorization paper someone signed my name illegally to 2 strokes all during my nightmarish stay at metrowest I made it to Brigham where they saved my life and got me out of mwmc. I am back home with my kids and my husband because I am a fighter. Stay away from this hospital these Drs only care about money they do not care about human life and they will try to take yours before they even let you fight for it yourself. .. I wish I could rate this hhospital -1000000 I would. I do not want a reply from customer service because your apology about my review will mean nothing to me...
