Overall my experience here was good. Dr. Pittman and the nurses and dental assistants are all extremely nice and welcoming and made my surgery very easy and stress free! I had all four wisdom teeth extracted and my lower nerve was effected and numbness is still felt 5 days later the staff was very informative and really calmed my nerves (pardon the pun) about this situation. There is only one downfall to all of this: Dr. Ouano. Dr. Ouano is, for lack of better words, a jerk. The doctor, having never before met me, accused me of abusing my medication when, on the follow up appointment, I told him I was light on them and was concerned I would not make it through the weekend because the pain in my lower teeth was so bad that it made it impossible to stay asleep. He told me he was skeptical that a certain pain medication made me sick because that was a weak medication and it seemed like I just wanted stronger medication. I attempted to explain to him my history with other injuries and the pain medication always making me puke and he interrupted me and told me right to my face that I would be black listed at the pharmacy as a pill abuser. I have had many things happen to me in my life which required pain medication, a fractured vertebrae, kidney stones 8 times, a dislocated shoulder, etc... I know what pain is and I know what works and what doesnt for me. Never in my life or any of those instances have I been questioned or accused, but suddenly this Dr. who knows nothing about me, had the nerve to sit there and accuse me of something so wrong. I have half a mind to sit in agony without medication until my next follow up just so I can throw the bottle at him. I shouldnt have to do that though. No good doctor should ever put you in that position.

This place does not care about patient at all. I need to do implant on my tooth. I called this place and was confirmed that I need to do "complete Oral Evaluation". I called my insurance, and was confirmed that it will be covered under my policy. I went there and everything went smoothly. The nurse took me for x-ray (about 5 min). The doctor came in and talked with me for 5 min. Done! When the bill came in, they charged me "complete oral evaluation" for $140 plus $135 for x-ray. "Complete Oral Evaluation" is covered by my insurance. However not the x-ray. I called my insurance and was told that this x-ray is covered only once in 5-years, and I have used once before. I called the office and was told "x-ray was taken and we need to get paid for what we has been done. It is patient’s responsibility to make sure insurance will cover". Seems I did not do enough homework, even though I have reached out to the office and to the insurance company. What a pain! I will not recommend this place to anyone else. They need to take better care of the patient, not only that they got paid.

Had my wisdom teeth out yesterday by Dr Pittman! Dr. Pittman and his staff were very nice and very knowledgeable thought out this experience. I had seen an oral surgeon prior to him a few years ago and he had said he wasnt comfortable taking my impacted wisdom teeth out. Dr. Pittman was very confident and made me feel so much better about going thought with procedure. Little swollen today but overall doing ok! Great dental practice!

I have been to so many dentists and oral surgeons that were all the same. This practice is the first and only one that has considered the quality of my life, the cost and my medical history in deciding on a plan. The "we" approach is wonderful. Everyone involved in my care was calm, friendly, and patient. I trust them and they have made an awful situation so much better. Thank you for everything!

What a great experience!!! Wonderful, welcoming, and experienced staff. Beautiful building, and very impressed with their quality of work. Metro West Oral Surgical would most definitely receive my business again should the need arise. I cant say enough good things about this office!
