My "Family" Dr is not my PCP, bc I have a PPO health insurer/Plan. This allows me the Freedom, which I Enjoy, to GO anywhere I choose and to receive treatment. When my physician, Dr Lisa Ceplikas, here at Family Dctors, LLC, recommends that I see a certain Dr, I trust and rely on Dr Ceplikas to have the clearest picture of my overall physical health and respect her opinion a lot. The ONLY change Id personally like to see is going back a decade+, to the time when your Drs Office used to directly call insurers, pharmacies and referred Dr offices to send Rxs and patient info, or other. But, those days ARE gone! Even when my Insurer requires that dreaded "Pre-AUTH!", its ME, who is my OWN liaison, and I am my OWN advocate!"...though I am not at all medically inclined and my memory isnt as sharp these days!

DO NOT GO THERE !!! I been trying to find a decent Primary care Physician for months now . I schedule 2 appointment for physicals for me and my husband . The appointments were cancelled twice on the same day , I had a pain on my side that I believe that is a hernia, I asked them to schedule me the same day with the nurse practitioner , they denied it because my records were not sent there from my previous PCP . I will be calling the Department of Public Health so they can investigate them policies and procedure of this place, since they did not care about me or my husband having all this medical issues .

This place is a God-send. They are always available and open late and on weekends. Sometimes you may have to wait a while, but they usually are pretty prompt. I have used the walk-in service and have always been able to get appointments quickly when Im ill. My doctor is very caring (Peter Barker) and when hes not available the nurse practitioner and other doctors are quite good. Ive been going here for almost 10 years. My husband goes here as well. I have never felt rushed. I highly recommend this practice.

My experience at Family Doctors in Swampscott last week and again today was excellent. The wait is everywhere you go but today my nurse practitioner was amazing. Her name is Sara, she knew exactly what was going on, took her time and diagnosed me right. It was my first time seeing here, she was friendly and caring. Im thankful

The people in the front desk are extremely rude especially Jaime. Raising her voice and humiliating at people. Very unprofessional young inexperience with people and rude. I have been a patient since 2006 and front desk have change drastically, they have place young inexperienced rudest and disrespectful younger girls.
