We were in a desperate situation with our 1 year old puppy and were turned down by our long term vet (at least 10+ years) due to "lack of staff" and not having enough money to cover the visit. This office not only took our dog in not knowing of us at all, but saved his life. What the other vets office called a "tummy upset" and suggested Imodium, was actually a foreign object lodged between his stomach and the beginning of his intestine. Had Pennfield not taken him in and performed emergency surgery on him to remove the 18 inches of necrotic (dead) intestine, he would not have made it through the night. He had already begun the process of dying and smelled of death when we brought him in. Today, 2.5 months after his surgery, Apollo has a new lease on life and is even more active than before! They even let us make payments on the balance to get this done for him. I am transferring all of my dogs to this vet and would recommend that everyone do the same. When your children are furry, you expect them to be taken care of as if they were your human kids. This office will do that and more.

They charged my mom $260 bucks and my dogs still look like they have mange. I had experience w/ hot spots w/ dogs before and I knew what works( a vet in Plainwell was old, but good). I had suggested very nicely and carefully what he gave them. They wouldnt listen and wanted to argue that new medicine was better. It doesnt work.. My dog lived to be 14 and he was a big dog so "old school" knew something. They wrote my mom a letter and said they had offered a free follow up visit which was an outrite lie. Its all about the money w/ this place. It was easy for them to take advantage of an 81 year old woman. Not me. They didnt even count the amount of pills right. I wouldnt take a cat there and I hate cats.

Great service and a very cleanly environment. Ive never taken my cat there before and they closed in one hour on a Saturday. My cat was sick so I called expecting I probably wouldnt get in and would have to take him to the emergency animal hospital, but they fit me in no problem! The staff was very friendly all the way from the receptionist to the doctor. Truly a great experience. Good customer service goes a LONG way in my book especially in urgent situations. Ill be coming back here from now on. In fact, the vet where my wife has dropped lots of money and has been taking our dog to for a long time refused to take him in. Needless to say, well be switching the dog over here too.

We have taken our felines to Pennfield Animal Hospital for 15 years. It is a longer drive for us, the prices are a little higher, but we always have excellent service and they take very good care of our pet family. They have seen us through the good times, as well as the bad times. I depend on their veterinary care and trust them to help us make the right decisions. Our pets are like our kids, and any treatment is never taken lightly. I would recommend them for your veterinary care needs. They have always proved to be caring and knowledgeable.

I was very happy with our visit today! The office was clean and odor-free. There was plenty of space in the waiting room to put space between ourselves and other pets. We saw Dr. Magers who was very knowledgable and easy to communicate with. She set up a clear plan to treat our cat. All the staff we interacted with were pleasant, thoughtful, and very knowledgable. I was extremely pleased with our visit today; we will certainly return for our next annual visit!

We began taking our pets to Pennfield Animal Hospital almost 15 years ago when a problem went undiagnosed by another doctor. All of the doctors are kind and compassionate. I never feel that they are in a rush, they take time to really listen to me and interact with my pet. The staff are friendly and helpful and I always get the best service. Cant say enough good and wouldnt take my pets anywhere else. Thanks Dr. Atma, Dr. Magers and Dr. Tucker!

The staff at PAH is amazing! I have a dog with severe allergies and they have been there for us through it all. Always helpful with every step of the process. I couldnt ask for a better group of people to trust my fur babies too. Both Dr. Magers and Dr. Atma make themselves available if either of my pups need anything. And the office staff is more than helpful no matter what the issue. Cant imagine taking my dogs anywhere else!

Today we had our first visit with our new puppy. We were greeted by a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable receptionist. The waiting area was clean, open spaced, kid friendly, and had a nice aquarium to look at. The vet we saw took her time with us, and answered all of our questions. She was gentle and thorough. Very pleased with the service and looking forward to our growing relationship. Thank you!

We have taken our poodles to Pennfield Animal Hospital since 1971 and have been very pleased with the professional and caring treatment that they have provided. I like the pet portal that they started using in the last year or so that gives us reminders of check ups for our pets as well as gives useful articles to pet owners. I would highly recommend PAH to someone who is looking for a vet.

My husband and I take our two dachshunds (6 years old and 6 month old) to Pennfield Animal Hospital. Kate is an awesome vet, our 6 month old up just got spayed there and the surgery went amazingly and our pup has been recovering very well. Id definitely recommend Pennfield Animal Hospital to all my friends and family!!

Dr. Mager has been my Veterinarian for roughly 10 years and Ive never been so satisfied with any type of Dr as I have been with her. She takes care of my baby and has helped him get back on his feet many times, Im very grateful for her and the staff at PAH.
