Beyond exceptional! I had to perform the task and no dog lover ever looks forward to. Yesterday, I had to put my 16 year old Jack Russell down. Old age and finally got the best of her and it was time. Their wonderful staff went out of their way from the moment I arrived to make sure I was escorted right to the room so the dog would not feel uncomfortable in the lobby (several other dogs were there). The assistant came in and explain the entire procedure with me as well as giving me options. I regret that I didnt get her name but she was absolutely amazing!! And I absolutely love the fact that they give the dogs a sedative before the actual procedure. I was able to hold my dog while she effortlessly fell asleep in my arms. She was out cold in the last thing that she remembers was me holding her. I was able to leave before the procedure that put her down was administered which left me with a great deal of comfort and peace that she had been handled in taking care of correctly in her last moments. I cant recommend and thank the staff enough for your thoughtfull care of my dog.

We have always had caring and attentive service at Canton Animal Hospital, however our experience today was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. The vet entered the room, without introducing himself, threatening not to treat our dog and berating my husband because he asked if the vaccinations suggested were required or necessary. Not at any time did my husband refuse vaccinating our dog, he only questioned which vaccines he truly needed. The vet was not open in any way to having what could have been an informative discussion about treating our dog individually, or explaining the necessity in routine care and vaccines for pets. Our dog sat trembling on the table as he used the opportunity to aggressively disrespect, harass, and demean my family while waving a syringe in the air. We will not be back. As a pet owner, we have so many choices about where and how they are treated, and I highly recommend taking your pet to a place where the veterinarians are more educated, helpful, and empathic to pets and owners alike.

I started going here about 10 years ago, because they were the only Vet in the area I could find that dealt with Parrots. While I have had a couple of bad experiences with a few of the Vets on staff, mostly due to their "beside manner" have had great Experiences with Dr. G, Dr. Moran, and Dr. Tinker. It currently takes over an hour to drive there, and there are many vets closer, but I like the service enough to take all 4 of my pets the 3 Doctors I listed above. Dr. Moran has been treating my Parrot for about 3 months now, ever since he chewed through his foot. While we dont know the original cause, she has worked to heal the wound first. The first day my parrot was there the staff were all worried about him, because he was in really bad shape due to blood loss. One of the vets thought theyd have to cut a least a digit if not the whole foot off, but Dr. Morans skill and patience has gotten the little guy back in healthy shape, and keeping all his toes.

I brought in my 4 month old Cockapoo puppy, who is the sweetest dog we have ever owned. The puppy became very nervous and stressed as it was its second time in its life being at the vet. He began to growl and become a little snappy as they examined him out of fear. But instead of trying to calm my poor puppy down or simply muzzling him, the veterinarian takes his hand around my puppys neck and FORCES him down to the table yelling, "STOP IT! THATS ENOUGH!" as if the vets life was in danger and restraining my dog would help his fear in any type of way. I am a pre-vet student having over 200 shadowing hours and have NEVER seen a veterinarian who is supposed to be EXPERIENCED in this type of thing freak out like that over a TINY 10Ib. puppy. My doctor then tried to refer the dog to an obedience school. This type of care was unacceptable, and if the veterinarian thought otherwise he needs to go back to vet school. We will not be seeing this doctor again.

CCAH is the Best! I have used them for all of my pets for the last 20 years but recently confirmed how exceptional they are. My cat suddenly got ill and was diagnosed with a serious urinary tract blockage. They immediately took over and saved his life. Not only are they extremely caring but took the time to explain his illness with me. And at his last checkup, I had two vets and three techs stop by the exam room to say hi to him! Absolutely wonderful people! If you are looking for a new office, this is the place to go!

Weve been taking our 9 year old cat here for about 3 years. They are pretty much what you want from a high quality veterinary office & hospital. Decent hours during the week and open on Saturday. Its usually easy and quick to schedule an appointment. They were the first vet to mention that our cat had gum disease and tooth decay. No other vet had mentioned that. After her teeth were cleaned her bad breath went away (as well as a few teeth that had rotted out). They have earned my trust and business.

Just want to add that they have a really great exotic animal dept. I have been there with a canary and my alligator. They were the only vet that would see an alligator after I tried several reptile vets and got laughed at on the phone, and they were so kind to her too, and to me. I will shortly be coming back with my ball python who has the sniffles!

We have seen Dr. Meyer over the past 6 years for our 2 dogs, one with epilepsy, one with cancer. Dr. Meyer is thorough, knowledgeable and takes time to answer your questions, or will research if she isnt 100% confident. She is a true blessing and I feel very confident in her abilities. The staff have always been friendly.

I cant really ask for anything more, the doctors were nice and the building is clean and welcoming. They handled my scared dog very well and they seemed to have a procedure of getting this done quickly and effectively. Dont really have anything to complain about, they have a cool fish tank too.

We have been using this Vet facility for over 15 years. They have always given us the best service whether a routine check up or surgery for bladder stones. They, Dr. Drake, handled our grief well in putting our most recent dog to rest. Thank you for treating us with respect and sympathy!

We found this vet, and have recommended them to family and friends. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and they dont try to up charge or sell you on unnecessary things. They have taken fantastic care of our 70 lb pitbull!
