first visit - waited an hour (not unexpected). a dog came in with a bandaged stomach, secretary fully unwrapped it in the waiting room. it was a serious skin infection there was no skin on its stomach and she let it lay down on the dirty lobby floor. she said it didnt need to be re wrapped and it was fine and she could go home. aside from that, the vet was running extremely behind so he tried to get through everyone quickly. my dog had an ear infection,watery eyes and was chewing her toes and hadnt eaten in roughly 4 days and was throwing up bile which are signs of a serious allergy or something worse. so he clipped her nails, cleaned her ears, drained her anal sac and put her on an IV of what looked like saline solution but when i asked he just said "healthy fluids with vitamins" which supposedly is going to help her allergies even though he never did any type of allergy test nor told me what type of allergy it was. He told me i didnt have to pay for anything this time. this seemed like an unsatisfactory visit to me (aside from being free) BUT as soon as we got home the first thing Lola did was throw up what looked like pond scum and then practically dive into her food. so whatever he shot her up with seems to have increased her appetite which was my main goal of the visit. i would recommend this vet for anything non-serious.

Dr. Syed is a wonderful physician. I just logged on and read a couple of negative reviews before deciding to post my own. To be fair to him and his staff, not all illnesses can be cured. Not every problem can be resolved. Medicine is as much of an art as it is a science. So this morning my husband and I took our dog to see him. We had to because she couldnt evacuate her bowels going on a day and a half of trying. The doctor took care of the problem (a thankless task) and charged us a very reasonable amount. We didnt break the bank and our dog is resting comfortably. He also gave us several tips on how to avoid a second episode. Even if we were people of means, I would still choose this doctor over another that is up the road at a more modern facility who treated our pet cat like a piece of meat!. The difference between the philosophy and cost of these doctors is night and day. So, Dr. Syad, thank you so much for helping my dog.

Dr. Syed is the kindest Vet Ive ever seen. He spends as much time as it takes to make sure your pet is taken care of. As such his appointments always run over, so expect to wait a bit if you schedule a visit. He is well worth the wait, just ask anyone in the lobby, and they will sing his praises. Dr. Syed charges well below what all my other vets used to charge me, which is god sent in this economy. I would and have been recommending him to every one I talk to.

Very caring and loving to all animals. I have been going for over 10 years now and Dr. Syed is wonderful. I completely trust him with my animals. I have never met a vet so caring and willing to help in any way possible. I can not say enough good and positive things about him. He is the best. I wish there were more doctors like him in this world. He is truly a gift from God! No matter how far I live I will continue to keep him as my Vet.

This guy is the best! His rates are reasonable and he was very caring when we had to put our dogs down after 16 and 18 years. After almost 2 years we just bought a new puppy and he is going in for a check up and his second series of shots. We have been to other vets but none compare to him. He actually thanked us for bringing the dogs in to see him! Having a good vet is half the battle of having a pet. I am very comfortable with Dr. Syed.

Just moved to Michigan and my cat, Humphrey, had a severe allwrgic reaction. The Doc squeezed us in and treated Humphrey immediately. Went in for a check up a few days later the Doc didnt charge, said he was just happy to make sure Humphrey was going to be okay. Truly wonderful vet and staff. You might have to wait a while, but just remember the time and care hes giving the family before you is the time and genuine care you will get.

The best out there. Myself and most of my family bring our dogs and cats to Dr. Syed. Hes one of the best vets out there. I honestly feel he does his work because of his love for animals above all else. Even with the care as high quality as it is, its one of the most affordable places around. I swear if he didnt have to earn a living and pay his staff he would do it for free thats how much he seems to love the animals

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Syed for many years now. He is an excellent vet!! His prices are much more affordable than other veterinarians. His office isnt as fancy as others but thats not what were there for anyway... all you need is a licensed veterinarian that is caring & compassionate. This is the guy!! His office staff is super nice and helpful as well!!

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Syed for over 25 years and I think he is the best! You can always expect to wait but thats because he takes his time with EACH animal. He usually knows right away what is wrong with your pet and is very caring. I wouldnt trade him for anything!
