I want to start with my strongest opinion, that Dr. Leas is a very good vet. She was very caring and made herself available to me on the ready, replying to emails instead of making me call or come in all of the time. She is the only reason I am giving this place any stars in their rating. She gets 5 stars on her own. None of this review reflects upon her at all. The front desk staff are unfriendly and act as if its a bother to help you. The worst part about my experience here was the cost. I had been going to a specialty vet that only treated cats, and I thought they were pricey. This place was even more expensive, especially if your pets need medication. I never got out of there without a bill well over $100. After multiple appointments spanning a little over a year, we finally had to euthanize my kitty who had been suffering from cancer. I have never been in so much shock - they literally brought the BILL in to me before the procedure. My previous vet didnt even charge for this procedure, which I think was very kind, but its not as if I expected the same. However, I was distraught about what was about to happen, I was there alone with my dying cat, and I was very anxious. It took so much out of me to be able to make the phone call for the appointment and just drive across the street to go through with it. And they prolonged my discomfort to worry about payment. I thought this was in very poor taste. They could have asked for payment when I returned to collect my cats remains or they could have billed me. At any rate, nearly 5 months later, I am still deeply offended.

Dr. Carlson and staff at Lifetime Pet Wellness Center are fantastic... I have taken Sonic there since I adopted him, and cant imagine a place I would be more comfortable in caring for him. The people at the front desk are friendly and efficient, and every tech we have had has been great. Friendly, upbeat, honest and patient. Dr. Carlson is amazing! His integrated/holistic approach is exactly what I wanted in a vet. He appreciates that I dont want want to feed Sonic pills or give him shots of something for a quick fix, and has helped me with preventative supplements/herbs that have my dog happy and healthy. Im pleased with the results I am getting from the holistic approach. He has a great way with animals, and you can tell he truly cares. I usually come to our wellness exam with a list of questions and labels to go over, and he takes his time to answer them all in terms that are easy to understand without making me feel like I ask too many questions. And whats equally important is that Sonic is not scared to visit the vet. He loves going and sees his friends when hes there. Although hes a low-maintenance dog when it comes to grooming, I did take him for a full-groom with Charlie. Great experience, and will definitely do it again. All in all, the folks at Lifetime Pet Wellness Center treat Sonic with the same care and respect that I do as a pet owner. I will definitely continue going to them with my current pet and any future pets.

I took my GSD to Dr. Carlson years ago at his former clinic. When he opened Lifetime Pet Wellness, I initially looked for a new vet closer to home but after trying several, ended up back with Dr. Carlson in time for her end of life care. Dr. Carlson and his team made a horrible situation more bearable. They helped us to feel at peace with each of our decisions and were available pretty much whenever we needed them. Incorporating the holistic practice with the traditional modern vet medicine is incredibly attractive to us. Admittedly I was a skeptic about some things, such as acupuncture, but we had one treatment for our GSD when she was having trouble walking. One treatment later, she could walk almost 100% like her young self. It was incredible to see! We are now back with our Golden puppy and have recently met Dr. Arnold. She is equally fantastic, as is the additional staff weve met. Our puppy had a relatively stress free experience. It is almost like hanging out with friends who just happen to be making sure your pup is healthy. The exam rooms are always spotless yet dont feel sterile. It is a comforting environment.

Terrible. I took my pet in on a Thursday because she was acting strange. The vet checked her out said she looked like a healthy kitty and I may want to consider doing bloodwork in the future...I said I would think about it. I called back on Wednesday at 5:30 to talk to the vet that treated my pet and they were no longer there. I was told I could bring my pet back in but I wasnt sure if I was overreacting. I asked if a vet could call me back and I was told I would receive a call. I called them the next day at 2 pm because I still hadnt received a call. I explained that I was upset because when I did not get a call back I took my pet to another vet. She was extremely dehydrated and I had them do the blood work. I explained to the office manager that they had dropped the ball and I should have been called back. I asked that Dr. Carlson call me and I was told that she would let him know the situation but could not be sure I would get a call back. It is Saturday now...still no call...and I had to put my pet down today. Thanks for caring Lifetime Pet Wellness and thank you for your concern Dr. Carlson.

Great place, i visited this place for the first time today. My cat luna was having some issues peeing outside her litter box, I wanted to get her checked for a uti. I called to make an appointment, they got me in the same day!. The tech that helped me was very friendly. I am a first time cat owner, she gave me all kinds of reading material a first time owner should know. I am a into a natural and holistic treatment for my animals, they seem to specialize in that way of treatment as well!. I didnt feel like they pushed meds and unnecessary treatments on me either, they listened to my thoughts and helped me treat my cat accordingly. We discovered that my cat is dealing with stress and anxiety, the vet walked me through different ways to help ease her stress. He also prescribed her natural stress releaving drops. I was very impressed with this place, I will definitely bring all three of my cats to this vet. It was a bit costly, but it was better then the $500 dollar vet bill from my previous vet.

I started taking my dog to Lifetime Pet Wellness after he was unable to use his back legs. They started a strong medical therapy, spinal therapy, and acupuncture on him and after some time he got much better. Dr Carlson suggested I take him to MedVet to get a diagnosis. After my dog was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopothy Dr Carlson was able to help me understand what was wrong with him and treat him accordingly. MedVet said that he was supposed to be paralized by Jan. 2011 but he is still here, and I think that Dr Carlsons treatments played a part in that. I really like how he treats animals and has a great knowledge of how to care for them. Now my dog isnt on any daily medication, and walks just fine (as good as he can). The other thing I like about the center is that they check you out while you are in the room so you dont have to hold your animal in the lobby and wait to be checked out.
