When I first got my cat, Pebbles, I noticed he was having these asthma like attacks and I took him to the vet and they told me he had the herpes virus. After awhile I noticed he wasnt getting any better with the medicine they gave him, so I called around to other vets and found Great Lakes Animal Hospital. Most places are booked for weeks, but here they look me right away which is important to me. Taking Pebbles to Great Lakes Animal Hospital was the greatest decision I have made. Right away they took tests and in a few days Pebbles had the correct medicine and diagnosis. Turns out he has heartworm and that can cause the asthma like attacks. Its been about a week now with him on this new medicine and Im already noticing a difference. Throughout the day he may only have 1 asthma outbreak compared to 5-10 times a day that he was having before. Pebbles has always been a very silent cat and now he has a voice. Hes meowing a lot more when he wants something and he is super energetic. It seems like his airway his clearing up and now he is a happy and healthy little boy :) thank you to Dr. Saini and the rest of GLAH for the care that you have given to us. Pricing: The prices are a little high here, but most places are. If looking for a cheaper place this may not be the place to go, but if you want honest care then I would definitely recommend you to this vet clinic.

When I first got my dog three years ago, I visited a couple of vet clinics in the area before settling down on Great Lakes Animal Hospital. The staff there are very friendly, helpful, and are very patient in answering all of my questions and concerns. Their facilities are clean and well kept. Their appointments are typically on time and I wouldnt have wait very long, if at all, to be seen. I also find their rates to be reasonable. I dont believe that they offer pet boarding services anymore, but Im quite happy with the service that they provide as a vet clinic. The only minor complaint that I have regarding the clinic is that they will typically take my dog inside where I cant see her to give her vaccination shots and such. They are happy to accommodate, however, if I ask them specifically to do the shots outside, in the patient rooms, where I will be able to see whats going on. While the nurses and technicians are more than capable and qualified to do their jobs, in comparison to some of the other clinics that I had visited prior, they are not quite so adept in distracting the dog while giving the shots, which typically results in requiring someone to literally hold down the dog while someone else gives the shot. But even so, I think thats really a minor issue because ultimately they do get the job done quickly and effectively.

Ive been a client at Great Lakes animal hospital for many years off and on. But after too many bad experiences at other animal hospitals I am back FOR GOOD. Dr. Saini & Dr. Patel are extremely caring doctors. My animals are my family, and they both take that very seriously. I recommend them to anyone who wants the best experience for their animals. They even sent me pictures of my cat when he got surgery back in October, and he recovered so quick and easy with no complications either. And now that my dog is getting older I know he is in the best hands possible and I am confident he will be able to live a long healthy life because he is in the best care. I also appricate getting calls from the doctors to explain my pets blood work so that way if I have any questions they are answered. Its not just the Doctors that are great the rest of the staff is extremely patient and knowledgeable. Matt was very helpful and patient which we were trying to get records faxed over for my roommate & i dog. He also took the time to let me know the right dosage of Benedryl that I could give my dog(which completely explained why it did not seem to work as long as it should have! Thanks again Matt!) Anyways, if you want me our pets to be the treated in a compassionate and caring way, Great Lakes animal hospital is the place to go without a doubt!

I am forever thankful for Dr. Saini and Dr. Patel at Great Lakes Animal Hospital. My family and I have been talking our fur babies to see Dr. Saini for over 15 years! I cant say enough about Dr. Saini and his Staff. They definitely have a way of treating you and your animals like family! My oldest dog Tyson (a puggle) has had quite a few issues since he was a puppy , from stomach problems, back problems, respitory issues, due claw surgery, to recently cancer in his spleen. All of which Dr. Saini and Dr. Patel have treated with honesty and integrity as if they were treating their own dog. I highly respect His practice as they have gone above and beyond to help keep my animals healthy and happy. In fact they are the reason they are still so healthy and happy today! I respect the opinion of these two Dr.s so very much. They have taken such good care of my babies and for that I am forever greatful. I love my dogs and wouldnt trust anyone else with them, simply put. For the record we have a vetinarian in the family and still wont go anywhere else if that tells you anything about Dr Saini and his practice.

Ive been a client at GLAH for over 14 years. The entire staff at GLAH is outstanding. They truly love and care for animals. I drive 20-25 minutes to get to their location from my home, past countless other vet offices, and I would never go anyplace else. I love my dogs - they are a part of the family. I wouldnt trust the care of my pets with any other vet office. They treat your pets with great care and kindness. I never question their care, and I am not one to easily trust the care of my family to just anyone. The staff at GLAH are all highly knowledgeable and compassionate. When one of my dogs was seriously ill, the entire staff was so helpful and accommodating. It was a scary time, but they made me feel confident and comfortable having him in their care. They truly go the extra mile when necessary, well above and beyond what I would expect. Dr Sanai, Dr. Patel, and the entire staff at GLAH are simply the best of the best. If you want nothing less than the best for your pets, this is the place to go.

In the past 12 years GLAH has treated my pets as if they were their own. My first visit 12 years ago was one of the kindest acts a Vet could ever do for a pet owner and the pet. Picture this, my little Sam (shih-tzu) began having intestinal issues around 5 p.m. and my vet at the time said they would not take him even though I made it clear he may not make it through the night. I opened the phone book and picked a number, and Dr. Sani himself answered the phone. I explained the situation as I cried the entire time, he calmly said " I will be here waiting for you". From that point forward I knew I would never trust my pets to any other Vet. The exception to that statement is Dr. Patel, she has continued her dads legacy, and has established herself as a phenomenal Veterinarian. We feel that our family will always be taken care of at GLAH. Thank you for all you have done for my family. I can not express the amazing care GLAH has provided my pets and my family.
