Let me preface this by saying I have NEVER felt the urge to write a review about ANY business in my entire life ... until now. The other reviews about this place are extremely dated, and things have obviously changed. Please read (for your dogs sake!) My First experience with Animal Care Center: The first time I ever went to the Animal Care Center at Cherry Way was to board my 7 month old puppy. I was actually impressed by their boarding runs etc. They seemed clean and nice at first glance. HOWEVER, I didnt realize how careless and absent minded their staff actually is... and in my oppinion the staff should be the most important part of any care center. You are trusting them with your dog! At the time I dropped my dog off for boarding she was on antibiotics for a urinary tract infection. She was almost done with her cycle of medicine (had about 4 days worth left of meds). The staff told me they would administer the remaining antibiotics while she was there. Surprisingly when I picked her up, there were still 3 days worth of antibiotics left. How could that be? Obviously they did NOT completely give her the meds as instructed and as a result my dog was not able to get over her UTI infection at that time. Very careless... I decided to give them a second chance. Maybe my first visit was just a rare experience. My Second Experience with Animal Care Center: My second time at Animal Care Center was for a routine checkup for my dog. I was told my appointment was at 330pm. I showed up at 335pm. Anyone that owns a dog should understand they can make you late! Especially puppies. I was greeted (rudley) by a receptionist who told me my appointment was for 320pm (even though I was told 330pm from a different receptionist). She said I needed to reschedule because apparently the doctor needed to "leave for the day". Leave for the day? At 330pm in the afternoon? To go where golfing? I was 5-10 minutes late. Extremely unaccommodating in my oppinion. But maybe thats just me... Believe it or not, I decided to once again give them the benefit of the doubt. My third experience with Animal Care Center: A while went by and I once again needed to board my dog. The day I dropped her off she was to be examined by the vet (routine checkup plus booster shots). I asked for them to call me later that day to let me know how the checkup went. In fact, I asked her SEVERAL times if they would be sure to call me. The receptionist actually made a note to call me on her paperwork. Guess what? I NEVER received the call as promised. Later that evening I decided to call and leave them a voicemessage (since no one was answering the phone at 530pm). Guess what? No one bothered to return my message! Not that day, not even over the next few days. I bit my tounge and decided to deal with it once I got back... After all they had my dog. I needed to be nice while they had her. The Vet since tried to call me to apologize. Way to late. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I highly recommend the Animal Care Center At Cherry Way. I have been taking my dog to the Animal Care Center At Cherry Way for almost 13 years. My dog has been seen by all three Veterinarians at this center, Dr. Halliday, Dr. Fu, and Dr. Douglas. I felt all three were excellent. They are very compassionate and very good with animals. They are very patient and will spend what ever amount of time is necessary with you to answer any questions you might have. In an emergency they will work your pet in. If you have your pets treated at this office and you have a question for one of the Vets, they will personally call you back, they do just relay information through their support staff. Everyone that I came in contact with was very friendly and professional. You could tell that everyone that worked their sincerely loves animals. Dr. Halliday performed surgery on my dog for bladder stone surgery and is an excellent surgeon. I always had a lot of confidence in the abilities of all three Vets at this Care Center. I always had my dog groomed at this location and was very happy with the way my dog was groomed and the prices were fair compared to other places. My dog recently passed away and Dr. Halliday was so compassionate during this very difficult time. The staff and Dr. Halliday signed a sympathy card with very kind comments personal comments a about how special my dog was, it meant the world to me. I plan to get another puppy in the near future and I definitely will be having her cared for at the Animal Care Center At Cherry Way.

I moved into the area a year ago with my dog and two cats, and switched them to the Animal Care Center at Cherry Way from their old vet. All three animals have been in at least once for checkups, care, and "doggy day camp;" so far I have had nothing but absolutely positive experiences with the staff and the company as a whole. The vets and support staff are kind, informative, and extremely helpful every time we visit. Our animals have been seen by Dr. Halliday and Dr. Fu on separate occasions, and both were incredibly patient and thorough in their examinations. Also, both showed a very welcome willingness to listen to what we, as the owners, had to say about our pets pre-existing conditions and behaviors (this has not been my experience with other veterinarians, unfortunately). The few times my dog has been to the day camp program hes been well cared for, and the staff is very upfront and informative about the options available throughout the day and the associated costs. It isnt something that my family chooses to do on a regular basis, but when we plan to be out for most of the day I feel I can rely on the day camp program to keep my dog safe and entertained. I also love that the staff posts pictures to facebook throughout the day!

They are amazing. I have been taking my Pug and my Frug (Frenchie-Pug) who is deaf to this facility for about a year. Staff is incredible, always friendly, make a big fuss over the dogs when we arrive. My dogs practically jump out of the car and drag me into the building when we arrive. The staff is knowledgeable and spends time actually entertaining and loving my dogs. The facility is clean, large and has an outdoor play area when weather permits. My pups are "pooped" from a day of fun when I pick them up. I can not say enough good things about Animal Care at Cherry Way. Cant imagine anyplace that would do better. In addition, both of the vets that have cared for my dogs have been wonderful and loving. Highly Recommended by Connie, Koby and Gretta

I took our three pets there for a year and love Dr. Douglas, she is wonderful. Goes above and beyond. Spends plenty of time with our animals, answers all our questions, she is so great. Unfortunately, part of having pets is those emergency appointments. My animals have had plenty of emergencies through the years and at my amazing vet in Cleveland I never didnt get in same day. My German Shepherd had been shaking her head all night so called first thing in the morning on a Saturday with an ear infection. Couldnt get in til Monday, late afternoon. I cant leave my dog in pain 2.5 extra days, and what if it was a real emergency? They dont have emergency appts? Starting the vet hunt all over again, but for today Gahanna got her in at 11am.
