I went to see Vihangi at A1PT earlier this year to attempt to resolve a shoulder issue I had been struggling with for many years. Over the course of 3 months, Vihangi helped me regain strength and stability in the shoulder to the point where I can now throw a baseball about 50 yards. Before I began physcial therapy I could barely throw 50 feet and could only do so with a lot of pain. Vihangi is a special person who takes an unbelievably personal approach to helping each and every patient that comes her way. While at their Gull Road facility I witnessed the caring way that she dealt with many different types of people with all sorts of physical issues. She is incredibly talented and has a genuine spirit. I am a huge fan of A1 Physical Therapy. They are truly the best in Kalamazoo!!

I used A1PT for my herniated disc in my back before and after my surgery in 2013. It was the first time I felt that a Physical Therapist actually listened to me- and made a thorough effort to understand my body and my problem. Vihangi and her staff (Desiree) did such a great job of caring for me! I had PT in the past elsewhere that was very generic for my back- and I felt no connection from the staff-nor was my PT personalized to ME, so it was very reassuring to be cared for by a practice that made me feel like they cared about my outcome and success as a patient! Vihangi gave a presentation to a group that I attended. Her presentation was informative and helpful, but what really impressed me was her deep desire to help her patients, she gave several examples of people who had self diagnosed their problem. She asked questions that enabled her to determine the real problem and was able to remedy it. First thing, the treatment Ive received at A-1 Physical Therapy has worked. Treatment sessions have been pleasant, effective, and informative. And the whole process has been efficient. There doesnt appear to be any wasted time, effort, or procedure. Another excellent feature of treating my injury has been the complete absence of pharmaceuticals. Back in 2013, after suffering a broken arm, I was recommended A1 PT for several sessions. I must admit that Desiree and her fellow PTs have caused me to regain strength and flexibility in my right arm. Also, these people are so warm with clients. I havent broken any bones since then, but if I did (Heaven forbid), I would go to A1 to undergo PT if necessary.
