Jim and Melissa have treated me three times in the last several years for neck pain resulting from computer work with poor posture and knee pain associated with injuries. They advertise personal/individual treatment and that is truly the case. They stay with their clients as clients receive treatment, insuring correctness and to note improvements. After the exercises massage and relaxation with heat to the effected area are offered to conclude the visit. Home exercise is expected with directions provided on paper including verbal descriptions and diagrams of the exercises. I have heard stories from friends about other courses of physical therapy that sound more like an assembly line, where clients are moved from therapist to therapist with apparently no knowledge of the individuals particular needs by any of the therapists. Owens staff is always attentive. This personal treatment and attention to individual needs produces quick and lasting results. I highly recommend Owens Physical Therapy for a cordial, professional approach to physical therapy.

I have been a practicing PA since 1998, primarily in a family practice setting. I have been referring patients to Jim and Melissa for over five years. I have never received anything but positive comments about Melissa and Jim about the care my patients have received. I have also gone to them myself. I find them to be extremely competent and compassionate. They listen to their patients and work with them rather than tell their patients what to do. They practice physical therapy the way it should be done, taking the time to provide the personal attention everyone deserves. It’s been 2 years since I used Owens Physical Therapy Specialist after a total knee replacement. I feel compelled after all this time to tell anyone interested that the recovery help I received has to be some of the best available. I recovered and finished therapy in well under my doctors expected timeframe. Owens works with you, pushing your limits but always aware of your pain tolerance. After enduring significant knee pain for 35 years, in my 60’s this total knee replacement and Owens therapy was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made. PS. Jim is great! He takes the time to listen and fully understand your symptoms before he creates a plan for treatment. I was pleasantly surprised by my constant progress and pain elimination.
