After going to this vet for five years, several events led me to find someone else. I was told my dog was not fixed and had a rare condition (even though the rescue fixes all dogs). We were told he wouldnt live long if we didnt do surgery. After our dog was put under, we received a call that they made a mistake and he was fixed, but would you like to do the surgery anyway to make sure? We obviously declined, but were still charged over $150 for anesthesia. We were also told our cat had a neck lump and it needed a biopsy. They took a cell sample and couldnt identify it, but still managed to convince us it was probably cancer and would likely require a lot of treatment. They didnt want to vaccinate the sick cat, so we were charged for the free wellness visit (because we didnt get shots). The lump resolved, and another vet told us it was likely a common infection not requiring treatment. I could go on. The few small pet emergencies we had... they never tried to fit us in and always sent us away, suggesting we go to an emergency vet. They didnt return phone calls, and never responded about the cell sample they took and charged me for. They were rude when I inquired what to do about the now obviously healthy cat who needed vaccines. They werent always so great with my pets. My cat had a cut on his tail and I was told, keep him in the carrier because we dont want him bleeding all over the place. I guess I understand. We always made immediate payment, but they would still always emphasize, We require payment for this at time of service. I guess thats their policy to say that? You would think the thousands we had paid them would mean something, but it didnt. Bottom line, I left that vet in tears many times, and found a vet across town for half the price who had twice the knowledge. Dont go to Pet Vet. You will thank me later. Not every single visit is guaranteed to be a terrible visit, but you can do better. I thought they valued our business and cared about our pets, until they completely betrayed our trust and disregarded our years of loyalty. Its a shame.

Our family dog of 17 years became ill with a growth that rapidly took over her throat. My family was very distraught and some members where very snappy. However , the wonderful doctor took the time to hug the members of my family after we had to let sheba go. The doctor comforted us and shared our tears. She was amazing and I will be bringing all of my future pets to her as long as I can. A doctor with this type of love empathy and compassion is not only rare but amazing and greatly appreciated. Thank you PetVet for helping me bring peace to sheba. She was an amazing dog and much more than just an animal. She deserves the peace you were able to help provide. Brandy l. Herman and family

I used to really like this vet and recommend them to friends. Unfortunately, the last couple of years, any time we go here, they charge us quite a bit more than they tell us over the phone. For example, our dog needed a dental evaluation and we were told over the phone it would be $20-25 and we were charged $35 with no explanation as to the cost difference. Now how am I supposed to trust them to do his cleaning? They will most likely tell me one price and charge me a lot more. Its sad to try to do the best for your pets and their health but feel like you cant trust the vet to give you an honest and fair price. We will be looking around for a new vet.

From my very first appointment at Pet Vet, the staff have treated both myself and my squirmy, non-cooperative cat with the utmost care and compassion. They listen to your concerns, provide thorough examinations, and answer any and all questions in great detail. Their prices are extremely fair as well, especially given the extra love and affection they display during such less-than-enjoyable procedures. After two years here, I have no desire to look anywhere else for a veterinarian!

Woke up this morning and my dog was unable to walk. I called to get her in and they would not make room for her!!! Ive been with this vet for 7 years (thats a lot of money) and they couldnt fit my dog into their schedule when she was unable to walk!!! I will never return and advise others to seek another vet that actually cares about animals. After trying to fight to get my dog in the practice manager said sorry and hung up on me. This is unacceptable!

After being hit by a car, the staff at petvet has been incredible in their care for my dog. They have shown compassion beyond my expectations. My dog Flower is only three days into her journey to full recovery but with everyone at petvet the road will be a lot smoother. Thank you to all the caring staff and doctors!

We have taken our dog to Pet Vet for 4 years for her health care, training, and grooming. We have been so happy with how the staff treats our dog. She is so happy to go, especially for her grooming. She loves Marnie and the groomers. When our dog was taking puppy classes, April was knowledgeable and so nice.

I took my rats in for a few years, other vets Ive been to have been reluctant and dont consider small animals being worth it, whatever that means. This place has always been so nice to my pets and after my last rat passed, they sent me an unexpected sympathy card. Definitely will be back!

The staff is exceptionally helpful at pet vet. They all take great care in handling both of my dogs and their knowledge spans beyond what is expected. The facility is also clean and well-kept. Pricing is reasonable. I can see this being our family vet as long as I am in the area.

I have been a customer for 4+ years and liked it so far. Last visit Dr Parson helped us and seemed most dis interested in her work. Prices we pay for the service are not cheap and to expect quality services there is nothing wrong. Would Not take appointment again with Dr Parsons.

Dr. Short and her assistant were wonderful with my cat, Athene. It was her first time going to the vet with us, so she was pretty scared, and they were able to calm her down and get everything to her quite painlessly. We were very pleased and we will return with her!

Soooooo expensive. Dont get me wrong I love my dog but holy cow, $152 for a rabies shot, lepto shot, & a physical exam (which the exam was pointless.) UNREAL. If you still decide to go here, i recommend Dr. Short. Shes super sweet!
