I went to Dr.Almodovars office today. I was 15 min early, no big deal. I arrive and the door is locked, they took a late lunch. Really? I have children to pick up, Im sure they frown upon patients being late! Very unprofessional, Im there because Im not feeling well! They made me wait in the hall, they come around the corner and the receptionist chuckled. Considering my bowel issues I thought them being late was rude and not the least bit funny! She continued to be rude, as I was upset for having to wait in the hall. Nurses that walked by me waiting said it happens often. She should not be at the front desk and did I mention she is also the one to take you back and ask you a bunch of questions. The dr walks in clueless, you would think she would go through your chart a little bit before she enters. I had to ask her to look at some prior tests she wasnt mentioning. I saw her in July and she sent me for this and that...its Oct and I still have no idea! I agree with the previous review, dont waste your time at this office!!!

I had simple issue and needed simple treatment but god only knows how much money i had to spent excluding insurance in getting the multiple testing done. All test results said there is no issue. please avoid getting treated by her.

Dr. Almodovar is thorough and caring. I have referred her to friends and family needing a gastroenterologist and she has exceeded all their expectations.
