Dr. Adelman is a very quick to the point, type of guy. But being an OB, that probably isns the smartest approach. I have him as my OB and he doesnt take time to go over the concerns I have, he just takes a guess (from what it seems, because he never looks at what Im talking about, just asks what it looks like FROM MY PERSPECTIVE then diagnosis it). He isnt gentle. I am 35 weeks and needed a PAP bc my filed didnt transfer some information, and he jammed it up there and it was painful, I started crying and cringing, all he said is "If you relax, it wont hurt so much" -_- Ive had them done before, and this one by far was the worse experience. He did a cervix exam and didnt tell me if I was dialated, okay, not there yet, ect. He doesnt make me feel like a person, just a box to check off. Plus the initial nurse who does weight and what not, was asking me questions of possible things Ive ever experienced or had, and she couldnt pronounce one and laughed and said "I dont even know what that is, so its whatever"./

I was with Dr. Adelman for two years. When I was having issues with my birth control, he was extremely against me switching to a different pill, stating that, "All pills are the same." After performing a very painful procedure on me, nothing was explained by himself or any of the staff. When I asked for a one-month extension on my pill, his staff told me he could do that no problem, but when I talked to him, he said that he, "could not prescribe something he could not check up on." I have been on this pill for over a year, with no problems. He then tried to give me a pill that was not the same, saying that it would hold me over until I got to my new doctor. My mom is also switching doctors, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

I have been going to dr Marc Adelman since 2011. He is such an amazing dr. Very easy to talk to. Gives you options. Always has a nurse in the room when performing procedures incase him or I needs something. The best girl there is Angie. She is truley an angel. Dr Adelman gives awesome advice. Always knows what to recommend when it comes to home remedies as well as otc meds when needed. He delivered my two boys at Beaumont hospital of Troy and was on top of it since i went into the hospital until delivery. I remember that he called the nurses at the hospital almost every hour to check on me and status. Love him & Angie and wouldnt change them for anyone even though he moved further.

He treated my wife horribly treats the nurses horrible and killed our first born son its sad this man is still in business and there is a special place in hell for him he was yelling at my wife degrading her while she was in delivery and as soon as I left room and brought mother in law in with us he did a 360 I would not recommend him to ANYONE!!!!! Spread the word about him and have his license pulled if he recommends any medicine for anyone using him do research before you take it trust me its horrible to have to hold a dead baby the one your planning to bring home

I have been going to Dr. Adelman for years and when I read these reviews I was shocked. Hes so kind and fun with me. Have I seen him have busy days where he doesnt sit and chat? Absolutely but he still always asks how everything is and whether or not I have any concerns. I trust him completely. Hes never hurt me or made me feel like a box to check off. Im so saddened that he has made others feel that way because I couldnt imagine him being like that.

I did not find Dr. Adelman to be very helpful when it came to discussing options and providing direction on my infertility needs. I was never given an ultrasound, which I understand is standard procedure. I believe overall he did not value me as a patient. This was my personal experience. It may be different for others.

Ive been going to Dr. Adelman for over 25 years and he delivered my daughter. Not only is he my OB/GYN but we discuss a wide range of health-related topics. Perhaps patients are misunderstanding his analytical manner (which I appreciate) as cold? I go in with a long list of questions and we discuss all of them. I

Dr. Adelman was my OB over 30 years ago and after an extremely long and difficult labor I went into cardiac arrest. Dr. Adelman was extremely rude and insensitive and he almost cost me my life. It is because of him I only had one child. If he is your Dr. find someone else quickly!
