Ive been here for a year now. In all this time I havent seen the doctor. I didnt mind, as I figured the nurse practitioner was ok up to now. However, I had a new prescription for my Thyroid and reacted VERY BAD to it. Within a week I broke out in itchy hives and was scratching my arms raw. I called to get in right away, as I had the next few days off. I was told by the nurse to wait 8 WEEKS before coming in. I asked what to do in the meantime with these hives??? The Thyroid is not an organ to mess around with as it affects mood, metabolism, weight, energy, sleep, mental clarity, etc. Over three days this back and forth went on. Finally the doctor was apparently consulted and she advised me to stop taking the meds (which I already did) and come in right away. I couldnt come in for a week at that point, due to my days off being used already. So I came in a week later, expecting a consult as you cannot stop taking medicine for your thyroid and I need a new prescription. I didnt see anyone, they only took blood – every other time I’ve come in for bloodwork I saw a nurse and had vitals, taken, and we discussed my prescription dose. I asked to see the doctor urgently and was refused. They said theyd put a note in for the doctor and could schedule me later. I couldnt come back as I drive almost an hour to this office. And I was due at work soon at that point. I am very upset, falling apart without my medicine and cannot believe the lack luster response. Please, consider this review among the rave reviews this office otherwise has. If you have a condition which may need urgent care sometimes, you may want to keep looking

My wife came here hoping to find a primary care physician for her health issues. Where do I even begin. She has been here several times to ask for help, she had not once yet met Dr. Kennedy. Okay, fine Im sure a physicians assistant could do a great job too, however, what happened was she was so rushed she never even got to ask about what she came there for. On top of that, we ended up with an unexpected bill that was supposed to be covered but wasnt because of clerical issues. We spent a few weeks fighting it. So in summary, she came here with a concern, it was never brought up, she never saw a doctor and we were billed unjustly. While Im sure Dr. Kennedy is a fine doctor, it would be nice to meet her. The way this office is run is unfair to patients in my opinion, Im sure its a great way to cut costs. As far as Im concerned, this is Dr. Kennedys office and not her PAs. She is responsible for how her patients are being treated and thats why I strongly recommended finding another primary care provider. Maybe this was just our experience, I dont know maybe others have had a much better time here.

Dont expect to ever see a doctor...Shes never available unless you want to wait 6 months to see her, I tolerated this for the last 15 years, shame on me. But what I cant tolerate is the office staff is unknowledgeable and unwilling to assist, they keep sending me to different departments, I leave messages and never get a returned phone call. I received a suspicious call from a bill collector using the doctors name and practice. I contacted the Drs office to let them know someone was trying to collect fraudulently and they acted like it was no big deal?!?! The gal on the phone sounded like she was 12 years old and said "What do you want me to do about this?"

For yearsI have been trying to find a doctor who can explain my thyroid imbalance to me, let alone treat it according to the body I live in instead of the general clinical definition of the condition. Dr. Kennedy is patient and listens attentively. She pours over my lab reports and is the Sherlock Holmes of hormone imbalance. She is up to date on medical information and prefers the most natural routes first: vitamins and life style change that supports the medicine necessary to make life as good as it can be. Im so thankful for the referal that lead me to her office. Thank you, Dr. Kennedy!

I was very excited for being referred to Dr Kennedy as she was touted as being the best in the area for HRT. Initially my experience with her was fine, the staff however is another thing. They are unfriendly , not helpful, cold and very rude. (Ive actually cried in their office) Ive stuck it out for a few years now but get so anxious before my appointments now Im looking for another Dr.

Dr. Kennedy has been our familys doctor for about fifteen years; and we couldnt be in better hands. Its true that there isnt hardly any doctor that you can go to and say " see me now" ...that sort of need you can go to an urgent care or the emergency room. But if you call first thing in the morning she keeps some appt free...you have to call early that is all.

I moved to Connecticut 3 years ago and I have not found a doctor like her here. I saw her for 6 years. She is an amazing doctor; she listens to you, you dont have to wait long, and she is open to alternative medicine and is always up-to-date on the latest information. I miss her.
