They never answer their phone. They take forever to call back. They never have Saturday appointments open. I called to get my inhaler refilled and they told me that I would have to call back with the number of the pharmacy, even though this was not the first time I have had my prescription filled by them. They just refused to look up the number for the Rite Aid down the street while I was on the phone with them, which Ive never had happen anywhere else. Like others that have commented, I usually only have to sit in the waiting room for 15 minutes or so before I am called back, but once the nurse has seen me, its a solid 45 minute wait for the doctor to come in. The last time I was there, I saw the nurse and the doctor and I just needed a nurse to come back and give me a 2 minute breathing test. After 30 minutes I opened the door and started looking for someone, as it was close to closing. People walked passed me but no one asked if I needed anything. After sitting in the room for over an hour and making numerous attempts to get someones attention, I walked up to the exit counter. I told them I had been waiting for a breathing test by no one came. They pulled my folder from their "done" pile and then tried to lie to me that they were just really busy and still knew I needed my test. They told me to go back to my room and as I was walking back I heard two nurses state they thought I was already gone, and the girl replied that my folder was in the wrong pile. No one apologized or admitted what they did. Its just an awful office.

Pros and cons.... You do have to wait a very long time. On a typical visit, I wait 30min in the waiting room, about 1-2 hours in the exam room. But when my doctor arrives, she sits down and prepares to spend quality time learning about your symptoms, going over your medications, etc. I feel like she listens to me, and legitamatley wants to find the answer. My doctor spends about 30 mins in the exam room with me. Most of my previous doctors spend less than 3 minutes in the exam room, dont give you time to explain your issue, and guess at what is wrong. My only other issues I have with this office is they seem to order an awful lot of ekgs for no reason whatsoever. Its like they are trying to bulk up on insurance money coming in. I often refuse these unnecessary tests. Also, the office staff are very rude. I struggle financially, and they called out my past due co payments in the waiting room where people could hear and made me pay it before the doctor would see me. If it wasnt for the quality time and treatment I get from the doctor herself. I would find another office.

New patient, had an appointment, filled out all paperwork in advance, really looking forward to seeing a doctor to get my health on track and start family planning. Waited 20 minutes after my appointment to be seen and was then rushed into a room. Waited another hour with no one checking in or advising how much longer the wait would be. An hour after my appointment was to begin I got tired of waiting and left the room - no one was in sight. The discharge nurse was occupied, so I just left. Tried to call the main line to advise I had walked out, was promptly put on hold for over 5 minutes so I just gave up. Wont be going back, will try a different doctor. Thank god it wasnt my child who was sick and in need of medical attention. Should have paid more attention to the reviews.

On the one hand, they had Saturday availability and were relaxed. I didnt wait as extremely long as my last doctors office made me wait. Just kinda long. On the other hand, they are one of the FEW remaining services that dont set up email reminders for appointments, but instead send out wordy, naggy cards that go on and on about how youre at fault for not showing up when you miss an appointment. Honestly when youve just had your genitals viewed and are handed a bunch of paperwork after racking your brain to remember symptoms during your little window to get a word in with the doctor, its perfectly excusable to expect an appointment reminder. Ill just finish with saying Im not happy about their appointment policy, so I dont say something I regret.

They changed to Henry Ford Health Systems. They sent me a letter saying that they changed to Henry Ford, but didnt inform me that they no longer accept my insurance. Now they dont return phone calls, it takes a week to get an appointment, everyone you talk to his rude, this place is now a nightmare when it used to be a great place. Its funny the only good review on here is from A lady called Cheryl Morgan, the only place she is every reviewed is this place, she has to work there or have some interest in it.

Went in for a 4pm appointment and got right into a room which I was surprised because I didnt wait in the lobby, talked with the nurse for 5 min and then was left in the exam room to wait for 2 full hours WITH NO ONE LETTING ME KNOW WHY I WAS WAITING A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF TIME. Ended up leaving without even seeing the doctor. So unprofessional, its understandable if you are behind then let your clients know, but I will not be going back here to waste my time.

DO NOT go there if you value your time and money. Had to wait incredible long periods of time even with an appointment. Also had to obtain signature on a sheet and they ignored me for a week, after which they told me that I need to make an appointment to see the doctor just so he can sign (which means that I have t pay, take time off from work and spend half a day in the waiting room just so the doctor can sign and date a document).

I do not like leaving online reviews that are not positive however I feel compelled to warn all. If you are looking for a primary care physician keep looking! Do not even waste your time or you will experience what I experienced. Long wait times, a week or longer to get a referral to specialists, lots of excuses from Incompetent office staff, and doctors who have no interest in managing your care.

I like the doctors at this office but the staff is atrocious. It is always a 3 hour ordeal for an appointment. Now they will not call you back on anything and I can not get a referral that is needed to specialist. It is just a renewal to keep going to same doctor and they cant seem to do it and its been close to 2 months that I have been calling.

Been going here for 6 years now, just went for my last time. Wait times have increased significantly since I started. Waited 1 Hour 25mins in the room for doctor to arrive. He saw me for less than 10mins, 3 mins of which he was voice texting someone about a different patient. Slow, unprofessional, and unapologetic has me finding a new doctor.

This is the slowest doctors office Ive EVER been too. Ive been waiting 45 minutes past my appointment in the reception area. The ONLY reason I still go here is I like my doctor so much! I know they have been "renamed" with new staff as Henry Ford medical, hopefully this will help their waiting times
