We used Fraser services for our Autistic son for about 6 months. When I first called to get an evaluation, we were told we were on the waiting list and never got a call back. I called a few months later to inquire of why we hadnt heard anything and they had totally forgotten to put our son on the waiting list. We still had to wait an additional 2 months due to their error. By the time we actually got an appointment, 6 months went by. The staff that offered services seemed to emphasize the words "free services" that insurance pays for. We werent there for "freebies", we were there to help our son. Every conversation we had regarding services was a "sales pitch" more than a down to earth conversation about getting real help. In the 6 months that our son was part of their program, he didnt progress very much. The therapists did try very hard with him, it just didnt happen. It was the coldest winter on record in 30 years and while metro schools were closed for many days that winter, Fraser stayed open which made no sense. We missed multiple appointments due to school closings and having to care for our other children at home. We were discharged (no longer offered services) for missing these appointments even though every other business and school was closed, but not Fraser. Overall, we got the sense that while Fraser does offer help to disabled people, that their main goal is to make money and it felt like that in the way the staff spoke to us regarding services. They continue to push the word "free" and that is really not why we are there. Weve made calls to different areas of Fraser and it is clear they do not communicate with each other. Weve left messages for staff that never get the message and they call back wondering what is going on. It just seems like their professionalism isnt up to par and they put too much emphasis on profit and pushing "freebies".

In one month my child made a great improvement in speech and ot. No sales pitches. If they see a problem they address it. Nothing of free services, you pay. Only way they dismiss a client from the program if you dont make 80% of your visits. And do not provide ample warning that you are not able to attend the appointment.

The services we have received for our son has changed his life ten-fold. Yes, there was a waiting list, but as soon as it was our turn, everything changed.
