I drive my dog 25 miles to this wonderful facility. Whereas other vets seem to prescribe tests and vaccines in order to bump up the bill, Dr. Whatley only prescribes treatments that she deems necessary. My small dog is extremely sensitive, so it is important to me to minimize procedures. Dr. Whatley is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I trust her implicitly. The staff is friendly, too. They mail me postcard reminders when my dog is due for a visit. If your dog is a member of your family, and you want the very best care at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Cottage Grove Animal Hospital.

Dr. Peg is amazing. She gave such great care to my rabbit through his whole life. I bring my dog to her now and she is still fantastic. She is honest and knowledgeable. Pricing I would say is average but she is very honest about what is necessary and can give you treatment options to reduce cost. The whole staff here is so caring and wonderful! We recently had knee surgery and they took such great care of my pup and were so good at giving me information and care instructions so there wouldnt be any surprises.

Great staff! When I had originally called they said they probably wouldnt be able to get us in that day (understandable, it wasnt an emergency situation) but after I told them that I need an appointment to have someone look at my dogs eye they squeezed us in. It made me feel like they were just as concerned for my dogs well-being as I was.This was the first time we brought our dog to this clinic and i will continue to bring my dog here in the future. She keeps her knowledge about rabbit veterinary medicine current and is open to consults and collaborations with other experts in the field. Not only is she knowledgable, she is kind, compassionate, and hilarious. The services at this veterinary clinic are personalized and flexible, never corporate or impersonal. Prices are incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Peg and her staff.

This vet clinic was recommended to me by my neighbors, and they lived up to their reputation! Edit: they have guided us through some very tough situations with grace. Though we have had to shed many tears, we have always felt genuinely supported and cared for. Dr. Peg has gotten to know our preferences on during and end of life care and emotionally supports us in making decisions in line with our wishes.

Not only are they really great at providing animals care, they take care of the owners as well. I had to bring my cat to the emergency vet after hours. I wasnt expecting a call from my vet, but after the paperwork was sent to them, they called to check on my cat. This happened again today. This type of service is so humbling and awesome. When my cat was injured and other vets in the area wouldnt see her because it "might be too much to handle on a Saturday," the Cottage Grove Animal Hospital was not hesitant in the slightest in agreeing to see her. They were friendly and kind, got us in super quick and patched her right up. We will definitely be coming back.
