My 65lb huskey has torn his ACL, the Faribault vet clinic did nothing for him! We brought him in and the vet moved his leg once and as my dog cried out the vet stated that hes not going to do anymore exams on him due to the pain he is in, they gave us a intiflamitory and a nerve med.NO PAIN meds .. then told us that we can come back in a MONTH. The next day my dog could not use either of his back legs so i rushed him to the emergancey vet clinic in Apple Valley. They did a full exam and said that he needs surgery right away! And that a month is way to long to wait. They gave us refurals for surgery that stated how vital my dogs condition is, they emailed it to the FVC. We called the FVC in hopes that we would be seen and schedual a day for surgery. We even had the Vet who sent the refural call them. The FVC asked if he was eating drinking walking and going to the bathroom. NO,No,No and NO! My dog cant move at all and is to weak to eat and isnt going to the bathroom he is declining FAST. After i told the lady at the front desk all this and after she reveiwed the refural she then said that we still have to wait a MONTH. She refussed to let us speak with DR. And refussed to fill my dogs pain meds!! She has made it very clear that she doesnt want to do any extra work. How dare you guys continue to push away a hurting animal with out even wanting to check him out again! They never once gave my dogs condition a second thought! Thank you FVC for putting my dog on the back burnner because YOU dont want to make time for him. I will never recomend you guys again and i wont be returning!!

I always have a good experience with the staff at Faribault Vet Clinic. I had many issues with a young Lab puppy in the the first year I owned her, and the Faribault vets and techs were great. They were willing to accommodate me in ways I think few other clinics would. For example, I was able to pick up SQ and IM meds from one vet at her home farm, to administer myself, rather than have to bring my sick puppy back to the clinic AGAIN. I also really appreciate that they have their own emergency service for non-surgical emergencies. I had to visit them several times late at night with a very sick puppy, and was grateful to be able to work with vets who knew the puppys history well. It was way more convenient to be able to go to their clinic at midnight than to have to find an "emergency clinic" in some other city! I highly recommend Faribault Clinic!

I am so very grateful to all of the staff that looked after our hurt furbaby. Very timely, professional, and made sure I knew exactly what I was doing for his after care. Thank you Dr. Anne, for showing compassion and leadership. I also deeply appreciate the staff that met me at 2:30a, she was very gentle and thorough in her assessment, and patient with me while going over prices and options. Even with the hour, she showed compassion not only for my pet, but towards myself as well. The staff seems to be very passionate in their efforts for taking care of our animals. Our animals are not JUST pets, they are family and this staff treats them as such. Keep up the great work and you will continue to have our business. Again, I humbly thank you.

My negative review from yesterday has vanished, so I will be brief: While Dr. Trandem is very courteous and professional, members of his staff lacked empathy and attention to detail when our pet died. I have written a formal letter detailing my grievances. I am surprised negative reviews can be removed by the business.
