In late May of this year, I got my first "flipper" to used until my permanent "implants" were ready in a couple of months. While having dinner on June 14th, I took my "flipper" out and placed on the dining room table, while I went into the kitchen to get some dressing for my salad. Upon returning, I heard a "crunch" and looked to see my puppy Regan (see picture) chewing on the new retainer. Needles to say, they were not reusable. And, I couldnt yell at Regan, because it was my own fault for leaving them on the table where he could get at them. I immediately called the clinic after hours # and left word of my predicament. Within a short while, Dr Bruce called me back and I explained my dilemma. Dr Bruce said to call Sandy first thing in the morning to set up an emergency appointment for another impression. I called Sandy at 7am and was told to come in at 9am. I arrived and Dr Bruce had a new impression made and said the new "flipper" would be ready late that afternoon. Sandy called me at 3pm and said to come over and get the flipper and have it fitted. Arriving at 3:30, Dr Bruce fit the new flipper in and I was out of there by 4pm. I just cant thank the staff of Dental Health of Maplewood enough for their unbelievable quick response, courtesy and friendliness, in my stressful situation. Even though I did hear a few chuckles from the staff when I told them what happened. They are so family friendly, that I truly enjoy going to the dentist. Patrick Sinclair Roseville

Dental implant - I recently had a dental implant which was a very extensive, long process. Step 1 - removal of the tooth was the most painful part of the process. Recommend taking pain pills if needed. 3-4 month wait for step 2. Step 2 - install the titanium insert into the jaw bone. Encountered no pain. Approx 3 month period for insert to seat. Step 3 - install pin in insert. Take impression and prep for tooth. Same process as a crown. Approx 2 weeks. Step 4 - have final tooth installed. All done! The entire process was not as bad as I thought. The worst part was having the tooth extracted. I did not follow doctors orders after extraction. Should have had pain pill prescription filled but did not think I needed it until too late. I would recommend taking it easy after extraction, I did not which probably created more pain for myself. Paul is a great dentist and I would highly recommend him for any procedure. My entire family goes there and he even worked on my mother in law after she had a stroke. I would feel comfortable with having any procedure done with any of the member of the team at Dental Health of Maplewood.

This is *the practice* for implant surgery in the Twin Cities, offering patients the best of that for which they might hope: professionalism, gentleness, and affordability. I saved 66% off the cost of previous implants and experienced a procedure less aggressive than most of my routine cleanings. Two previous implants at a different practice felt like I was literally losing an arm and leg while I was in the chair, and it figuratively cost me an arm and leg once I got the bill. Not at Dental Health of Maplewood. Medical professionalism, friendly care and follow-up, a nearly painless procedure, and all at a very reasonable price. Id put six stars on this review, if I could.

I never write reviews but felt that the care and treatment I received from Dr. Bruce and his assistant Lori needed to be mentioned. I am 64 years old and have gone to many dentists but Dr. Bruce is by far the best not only in the work he does, but also the manner in which he communicates with the patient. Add Lori to the mix and you have two of the nicest most professioinal people I have worked with in any medical capacity. This theme seems to go throughout the entire company. The people I workekd with at the front desk were also very helpful and nice. I wish I could find better words to describe Dr. Bruce and Lori, but I will have to settle with THEY ARE THE BEST!

I have never been a fan of the dentist. It had actually been 8 years sicne I last went to the dentist until I scheduled an appointment with Dental Health of Maplewood. Dr. Paul came highly regarded, and he sure didnt disappoint. Since that initial visit in February 2015, I have been 2 more times. My teeth and mouth feel so much better than they did before! The staff is very friendly and accomodating, the hygeinists are very knowledgable and willing to educate the patient, and the dentists are very personable and professional. Immediately, Dr. Paul and his staff welcomed me into the Dental Health of Maplewood family. I am very thankful for all of the staff.

I wish I could give them zero start! Im not happy with the work their done For me. My teeth not straight how the way It should be. He rushed and get done with time he doesnt care how it look. Dr Bruce Haglund didnt give me time and feels me. Every time I look at the mirror it make me down and cry. I tried so hard to take it and live with it but its so hard. A year after Im not happy at all I went to another place for opinion. Doesnt matter big or small still cost same price as I pay him. It so hard to explain how I feels but I wish I could go back to the old time and do more search. Dont waste your time there to do braces!

Ive been going here for over 5 years, and I highly recommend it. Im a bit of a dental-phobe, but these folks make it as quick and painless as possible. I trust Dr. Paul completely with my dental care. Ive had good experiences with all of the staff members, from front desk to hygienists to dentists. I have had my wisdom teeth removed, crowns placed, and an implant done, in addition to satisfactory regular cleanings and check ups. If you are looking for a new dentist, you should definitely try Dental Health of Maplewood.

I came to dental health of Maplewood after a bad experience at another dentist. Dr Bruce took over and fixed my poor dental work done by the previous dentist. In fact he fixed everything so well that i dont have enough good things to say! As i unfortunately learned the hard way the right dentist does matter! if you are looking for a highly skilled professional dentist try out Dr Bruce! Thanks again Dr Bruce and staff you guys took me in when you could have ran away from the other dentists inadequate work.

I have been attending Dental Health of Maplewood for a little over two years and have been very satisfied with the care I have received there. Dr. Don and the hygienists have kept me informed with any cavity issues they indentify and do a great job of educating me about my teeth. They always greet me with a smile and are easy people to talk to. I really have enjoyed my dental experience plus I have been cavity-free since changing dental offices!

WOW! I cant begin to say enough about the superb care that Ive been given over the several years (20+) from the Dentists & Staff at Dental Health Of Maplewood. It doesnt matter which of the 3 dentists you see (Dr. Don, Dr. Paul or Dr. Bruce) as they ALL do remarkable work no matter what it is that you need done. For the past 14 years I have had to drive nearly 40 miles each way to see them and IT HAS BEEN WELL WORTH IT ! Keep up the great work!
