They HAD a long time client. Constantly getting calls to reschedule even though my client had serious infection/health probs related to teeth. Have to wait months for an appointment. Recently client got a very rude call cancelling yet again upcoming appointment. Not able to get in until April. In fact they told my client to get another dentist because of insurance. My client felt bullied as the staff person kept repeating that my client should get another clinic vs assisting the client with another appointment. Does it really matter what exact insurance my client has had or NOT had for over the 10 years they went there? Its listed as a sliding scale clinic! **This is the 2nd time in a year my client has been bullied by a staff member.**The first was verbally by a technician! This seems to go against their mission statement and compared to a previous visit, their interest in insurance seems to change based on the caprice of management. If there IS management. My client is disabled and they were working with that persons specialist to help on a long term plan to help this person speak and eat again. These behaviors are unacceptable and disgusting. If they are advertising themselves as being an inclusive i.e.read: "exclusive" clinic, then they need to make sure their client base is in compliance with the law ACROSS THE BOARD. Furthermore their employees need to be trained in abuse/neglect regarding vulnerable citizens. Following up with formal complaints to the state and federal dental association, the disability linkage line etc.*Do not write your race down on their information questionnaire*

I made an appointment two weeks out, and remember that I asked to confirm the date multiple times before hanging up with the receptionist AND put it on my outlook calendar. The day of my appointment the office is closed. I called to ask about it and the receptionist said "oh your appointment was yesterday". I asked if they do call reminders (or call if someone is more than ~15/30 minutes late for an appointment), she said "yes they do that" and then confirmed they had my correct contact number. Kinda seems sketchy - they just happened to not call me the business day before my appointment and when I didnt show? They happened to have another appointment 2 months out (just like when I originally booked), but Im not going back - I should have read the other reviews first.

The staff was rude you make an appointment for a cleaning you come in first for an x-ray and then 2 weeks later you make an appointment for your cleaning. I thought the staff was president against me because of my insurance and I have high anxiety regarding coming to the dentist. I left there because of this and it took 6x for me to get my xrays released to the other dentist and finally the other dentist had to call them they are rude terrible other friends of mine that have gone there and family members so there may be very sore for several weeks after cleaning in any dental work do not go here they are rude they only like Hispanics and Somalians if your witedont go there

Ive tried to many times to be an advocate for Southside dental and medical clinics. I think the nurses (at medical clinic)and dentists are top notch, and Ive always liked the doctors that work there. But why they cancel so many appointments Ill never understand. Its been over 6 years, I joined Southside dental for my children and theyve cancelled twice so nothing has changed. Unfortunately I have to change dental clinics. But if you have patience and you get work done Im sure youll be pleased.

Made a regular appointment for a cleaning and when I got there was told that I HAD to have an X-ray even thought I didnt want one. The dentist said it was insurance policy. Sure it is, it makes them money. Its a terrible way to practice dentistry, force your client to get a procedure they dont need or want otherwise you wont serve them.

Terrible reception service!! If you can get past the rude women that answer the calls, the Dentists and Dental assistants are great, but I will never return due to the continued rude service at the front desk!
