So we initially went here because we heard they had miraflex frames for our 4 year old and a good warranty. They also said we get one pair of replacement lenses. Sadly our dog chewed our frames and i called to verify our warranty. Our warranty just expired for the frames as of june 4th, it was now june 27th, they said they will still give us a replacement for the lenses, i said she has a new prescription will that be ok and the lady on the phone said yes we can do it for you. We had met such wonderful ladies there the first time and this is how i expected them to be, helpful and accommodating. This would help greatly in the expense of buying very expensive frames that should last at least 3 or more years like her last Miraflex frames we bought when she was one. When we went in the lady knew it was us as she was the one i talked to on the phone and another Sir who worked there came up offering to help pick out new frames. As we were deciding he said he would only offer the replacement lenses with the same prescription. I said but she told me they would honor the new one and he said it cost so much more so they would not. Oh well they lost our business and we have 4 in our family that wear glasses who frequently need new glasses. They went back on their word and this is why we took our family and walked out. He simply wanted us to spend $100s of dollars on a new frame as a backup pair with her old prescription lenses as they would only cover the old prescription all of sudden. Even though it was clear they would cover her new prescription. Dishonest company that i had sent friends to as we know many little ones with glasses who have went there on reference from our family and now people will only hear the opposite from us. Untrustworthy company, accidents happen but if they were honest upfront about not replacing the lenses we would of still went back to order our daughter a new frame and lenses.

Horrible experience that wont stop giving! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! At all cost! Because they will rip you off! Was referred here. BEFORE the apt. I called several times to make sure they took our insurance, we have two. Was told yes. Got to the place and it was in an old building, office was sparse. I was a little concerned but thought, well were here. The eye doctor was inexperienced, had no idea what she was doing, didnt know what to do with my son. Neither did the assistant. Before I left the office, checked again with the front desk and was told by the rude receptionist that they took both of my insurance. Twould weeks later,we got a bill that said they didnt take our insurance and never did. Wasnt their fault I was given wrong information. I spent two months talking with them, with insurance and was told since it was their fault, theyd take care of it. It was a year ago and I just got a called.that said we owe them. They had lost the notes to all of my conversations with them, including the one where the office manager said theyd take care of it. Save yourselves. Go elsewhere! DONT GO HERE unless you want to throw money away.

Update: Under new management and new accounting company things have really turned around. 3 of my family members have gone here 2-3 times for routine eye exams. Yet every time this office has found a way to code it as something other then a routine eye exam to improve their bottom line. They even found a way to charge us for glasses fitting not once by 3 times for the same family member for 1 pair of glasses because they requested several follow-ups after receiving the glasses. Another time because one of the family members said they were occasionally experiencing dry eye during a routine eye exam they recoded it as a medical condition causing the eye exam not to be covered by Vision insurance and sent to my medical insurance who does not cover routine eye exams leaving us on the hook for the entire eye exam when they did nothing different. I would never recommend this office to anyone purely for their billing practices its very corrupt and suspicious. Avoid at all costs if you dont want to have to deal with any billing issues.

Not even worth one star! Administration is more than rude, uncooperative, and lazy. I have received the same bill on several occasions. Their billing department is incompetent and cannot even bill insurance correctly even after taking my current insurance. When I called to discuss, administration refused to correct the situation stating that it was my responsibility. Additionally, I noticed that they billed for services that I didnt receive. Pay close attention to what you sign and what they bill. They have never been able to diagnose true vision issues nor is their staff educated. Their fees are outrageous! Word of advice: Dont use their services.... Go elsewhere! I will find everyplace that I can to continue sharing my review!

The doctors were good, but prescribed vision therapy to both my wife and daughter. We had lots of issues with billing though. We were kind of tricked into not using our insurance company for both of the vision therapy evals. for my daughter. When I talked to my insurance about it, the codes that Bright Eyes were billing on were incorrect codes. Then when it came to therapy, they said they would not work with insurance companies directly and I would have to submit the paperwork myself. When I checked on the new vision therapy codes, the were coming up incorrectly as well. Terrible customer service and we are trying hard to find another practice to go to for the therapy. I hate being the insurance/doctor middleman.

We brought our daughter and was VERY happy with the exam and will be returning for further testing for Vision Therapy. Vision Therapy is the reason we choose this clinic and the doctors. Unfortunately, EVERY time I have called to make an appointment, I get VM and no one answers the phone. I then leave a msg and WAIT for a call back, which is usually when I am unavailable, driving and unable to see my calendar, etc. I find this VERY frustrating and am currently stuck in a game of "phone tag". I suspect we will be glad for the care we get on our follow up appointments, IF I am ever able to actually talk to someone to make the appointments...I have had this problem over and over, not just once.....

This has been the most frustrating experience!!! The Doctors were great! Awesome with our 5 year old. The eye prescription was good with the strength of my sons prescription. However, the ordering of the glasses was a different story for my husband. First the lab sent scratched glass and the office rejected them. We understand that it was not their fault. However the second time my Husband could not even see out the glasses. WE have waited weeks for these and to this day still waiting. IF you are looking for a new eye clinic get your prescription here and go some place different for glasses!!! If you want a one stop shop this is NOT the place.

I was referred to Bright Eyes for issues related to a concussion for my daughter. I was worried about costs from the first visit and expressed it to the front office. Two of what I call glorified eye visits is costing me over $900. They wanted me to purchase special glasses which would have cost over $400. I am extremely disappointed in this company and their inability to work with me on these overpriced visits. I can only assume they expected insurance to cover some of their costs. I would not recommend them to anyone.
