Weve seen Dr. Hansen for about 15 years and now Dr. Pietig a few times. We go out of our way from Urbandale to keep coming to AFVC. Theyre that good. They are absolutely amazing with our kids, especially Dr. Pietig, from infancy on, and our visits are always so warm and friendly and not rushed at all. They are always updating technology and equipment and have a HUGE selection of stylish eyewear. The facility is beautiful as well, and was remodeled a few years ago, so its just a lovely place to go. Theres a cute little kids nook in the waiting area too that has a low wall to contain the little ones and plenty of books for them to browse while waiting for an appointment or while Mom picks out frames. A+ from us!

Hands down one of the most efficiently run doctors offices I have ever been to. Prompt service, excellent facilities, and state of the art equipment are just a few reasons my family continues to go to Ankeny Family Vision Center. Dr. Pietig has been instrumental in helping us understand my husbands degenerative eye disease and she is always keeping us up- to- date on current research regarding his disease. Her genuine care and concern for her patients sets her apart from other providers.

Dr. Waters was a pleasure to see. She was very thorough and personable. Their office has the latest technology. Seeing the photo of the inside of my eye, and having it explained was pretty incredible. Also I was excited to see their optical department sells Maui Jim sunglasses-- my favorite!

Ankeny Family Vision Center is a wonderful place for eye care. This was my first visit there and I will be back. Dr Waters is very professional and knowledgeable. The whole staff was so friendly and helpful. I was impressed with their selection of glasses. Im now loving my new glasses.

Such great staff here!!! Ive never had an eye doctor I have felt more comfortable with and felt so at ease in their office. Theyre great with adults and kids, its nice to feel heard instead of rushed through an appointment slot!!
