These people do NOT know how to treat small animals and exotics even though they say they do! I went in with my pet rat, and they did nothing but prescribe Metacam for pain. The first dose I gave to my rat induced a massive stroke. Metacam has been pulled from the human market for increased risk of heart attack and stroke and should NOT be used on small animals due to the phenomenal risk. I learned this far too late, and they never told me such a risk existed. Now my poor baby can barely, eat, drink, or move and is in constant discomfort from the stroke. She may also get kidney failure from this vets uncaring attitude and selfish urge to make a few quick bucks at the price of my pets life. I will NEVER bring ANY animals to this awful place again! Please spread the word so that these people dont hurt any more animals!

So far, this establishment has seen 3 of my animals and I could not be more grateful for the amazing doctors and staff. They have saved my 7 pound Chihuahua twice, and are always asking about him and his health. The doctors take on call emergency calls and calm me down when he is ill. He is doing amazing now and I have no one to thank except the doctors at Tri-City. When it came to the painful decision to put down my other 2 dogs, Tri-City was AMAZING. It is one of the hardest decisions that a person has to make in their life and they made it incredible and very peaceful which I did not think was possible. The groomer, Bonnie, is incredible and makes your pup look amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about Tri-City and I will never go to another vet!!

Finding a vet is hard enough. Finding a vet who treats rats and doesnt have to check, to make sure they do, is even harder! Every single member of the staff has been so nice and helpful. Our rat Maia had a tumor almost half her size. I thought it was hopeless but the Dr.s at Tri-City said there is still a chance and that she may be able to survive the surgery. It was a hard decision, but because the staff there have rats of their own I felt better knowing that they were just as concerned about Maia as I was. I went ahead with surgery and a month later shes doing great. Tri-City is now my permanent family vet!

I switched to TriCity because our old vet had a small practice and it was difficult to accommodate all our pets. Heres what I love about TriCity-they have good bedside manner with dogs and the owners, they do not jump to do surgeries or X-rays-only if necessary, they have several vets so it is much easier to get an appointment right away, they look at the big picture of our pets, not just what will make $$. Although the cost of services is not inexpensive, it is similar to the other quality pet clinics/hospitals.

Tri-City Animal & Bird Clinic have cared for our pets for nearly 15 years, and I cant find adequate words to express my familys profound appreciation and respect for the vets and staff there. They have helped us through the good times, the itchy summertimes, and end times. From Phyllis at the front desk to the technicians in the back, the folks at Tri-City are friendly and caring. Dr. King is exceptional in her tenderness and directness. There are vets who are closer to our Chesterfield home, but none better.

Take great care of my cats - vet always takes time to speak with me over the phone or in person. I trust them to be honest with me and do what is best for my pets. They are open till 7 most weeknights and open on Saturday - really helps with my work schedule. They let me drop my cat off in the morning and pick her up when I get off work. When something comes up and my cat needs to be seen right away they work to get her in. Appreciate them putting up with my cats, even though they arent the best patients :)

My family has been trusting Tri City with our pets since I was very young and now that I have my own house and pet baby, I wouldnt take Buddy anywhere else. The staff is always kind and gentle with my babies and they know their stuff! Whenever I have had an emergency with one of my pets, they have always tried to get them in immediately or else refer me to the closest animal emergency clinic. I feel like they love and care about my pet(s) as much as I do.

We have been taking our two dogs here since we moved to Missouri six years ago. One of our dogs has had numerous health issues and cancer surgeries, so hers is a familiar face at this clinic. They are always so thorough, and so loving towards my girls. I truly feel that they all, from the front desk to the office manager to each of the vets and their assistants, to the groomer, really care about my dogs and their health.

Three generations of my family have used Tri-City for our canine care. They are incredibly kind and gentle people. My dog is a playful sweetheart, but gets unnecessarily terrified when he visits the vet. They work with him to give him care without escalating his anxieties. Even with moving 30 minutes away, I still make the drive out there, as my dog deserves the best possible treatment and that is what they have there.

I drive over 30 miles to go to Tri-City. I have found the doctors and staff to be most caring and knowledgable. All four doctors have treated my dogs, two cats, two cockatiels and three rats. I was quite surprised that when I had an emergency in the middle of the night, Dr. Van Horne answered my call. Thanks for answering my questions and relieving my worry. I recommend you to all of my family and friends!

I have a Congo African Gray parrot and it is hard to find a vet that cares for him at a decent cost. They take good care of him and will even call afterwards to check up on him and make sure hes doing good. We have been going there for a few years when our other aviary vet became too expensive. We have no complaints and are very happy with them. They always try to make sure he stays in the best health.

With 3 dogs and 2 cats, we are so glad to have Tri-City to care for our pets. Everyone is extremely friendly and caring. Theyre always very accommodating to the needs of our pets. What we love is that all the doctors are awesome. Its nice not having to worry about which doctor our pets are seeing as all of them are fantastic. The rest of the staff is just as wonderful.

They really care. I adopted a rescue that had been through quite a bit of treatment at Tri-City. They really care about animals, and they are great caregivers. They work with several rescue organizations. They even remember my dog when I bring him in! Im so happy with Tri-City that I drive over 30 minutes one-way to continue taking my dog there.

What a wonderful place to bring your pets, big and small. We have used these doctors for a wide variety of "family members"--gerbils, lizards, bunnies, guinea pigs, dogs, a cockatiel and even chickens. Each one has received excellent and compassionate care from every member of the group.
