I have been going there for many years and really like them. The staff are all very helpful and great to work with. When I took my old cat in because of a sudden onset of problems, I learned his mouth was full of tumors. I asked my vet if anything could be done to help him. She said that there was an operation but I would have to take him somewhere else. She refused to do it because it was expensive, very painful for him, and he might not even live through it. So, I could take him home and watch him die slowly and painfully from starvation or take him to another vet to have the operation done or have him put to sleep. The vet and staff are so kind and considerate when you have to lose a furbaby.

Do not pay any attention to the review that starts with "SCAM!!!". This person is an idiot. Anyone who works with animals is going to make sure the shots are up todate before dealing with them. If the animal should scratch or bite them, they could get seriously ill. And shots have never cost me hundreds of dollars. And, trust me, cats do not like having their claws ripped out by the roots. Wouldnt you attack if someone tried to rip your finger and toe nails out by their very roots? The person posting this is obviously not an animal lover. And they dont know the first thing about caring for their pets. I feel very sorry for that poor cat.

SCAM!!! Cat needed to be declawed so I called to get prices. They asked me if it had shots already. I didnt know. She said I would have to have the shots done first. Asked how much that would cost. She rattled off hundreds of dollars in fees for various shots. What do shots have to do with being declawed? Watch Out For These Scammers!

Ive taken my dogs and cats there for years. Theyve always been very caring. When one of my dogs had a very rare and unusual condition, they consulted a specialist at the University of Missouri vet school to find out more about it so they could treat appropriately.

Dr. Welch is good, but when my dog was examined by the other vet, I felt like they were pumping me for money.
