Receptionist gave our dog dirty looks. The staff was unprofessional. We came to do a wellness exam for our MASTIFF/LAB mix. He was treated by the staff as some mean big dog. Was told that we need to go and "register" him because he looks like a pit. Told them he is not a pit and they remarked that they are "professional identifiers" whatever in the hell that is supposed to mean. Our dog is a 100 pound teddy bear and they treated him like he was an aggressive dog. Had my wife worried sick when they took him in one room and set her in a room all by herself without telling her what they were doing or why. Well, Parkcrest Vet, I would have you know that we took him to the Springfield Shelter the next day and your "professional identifiers" self-coined term was met with that of an actual city professional and saw our dog and said that it would be absurd to register him because he doesnt look like a pit terrier in the least. I gave it one extra star for the actual Veterinarian (whom might I add was just a temp vet on-call!) that saw him and was extremely nice and professional, unlike the actual Parkcrest Vet staff. On our leave, the receptionist gave more dirty looks to our dog on the way out. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this wretched establishment.

We have been customers of Parkcrest Vet for several years. Every time we bring a furry baby in to see them, they treat them like their own. Dr Garoutte is our primary veterinarian but we have been seen by the other veterinarians on occasion, and all of them are extremely professional and caring. Dr Garoutte always remembers our pets, regardless of how long it has been since our last appointment, and our dogs are always so excited to see him and the staff. (Our corgi "roo roo"s when Dr Garoutte comes in the room, and "roo roo"s are usually only reserved for myself and my husband... if that tells you anything!) When one of our kitties went missing, I called Parkcrest in a panic to find out about his microchip, and during the call I was on the verge of tears with worry... the wonderful lady on the phone was so caring and reassuring, and she gave me a ton of information including some tips on trying to lure him back home. She put my anxious heart at ease! (Kitty came home eventually :)) So to sum up a very long review... We LOVE Parkcrest, and are customers for life!

I had an elderly dog who is about 100 pounds. He had not eaten or drank anything for about 3 days and it was time to put him asleep so he would not be in pain anymore. The problem was we did not think it through very well and got the dog in the car before we really called anyone to see if we could get an appointment. It is not easy to pick him up and get him in the car so we wanted to get him in someplace right away. Several places told us they did not have time, but Parkcrest made an exception because of our difficult situation and got us in right away. Everyone form the receptionist to the nurse and then to Dr. Ziegler were sooooo compassionate and empathetic to us. The Dr. actually cried right along with us as she administered the shots. I will be taking my other dogs here for sure.

Im sure they have very knowledgeable staff and mean well but as a place of business they are one of the worst places Ive been. After having to put my puppy down due to health problems they came back with a $600 bill. I was never notified of what care was being provided or what any cost would be. After somega back and forth we agreed to pay a certain amount every month. Then after making 3 payments I keep getting letter saying what I owe and that this is their 2ND or 3rd request for payment. Ive paid every month.. its rude, insensitive, and just unprofessional. I will never do business here again and Id advise everyone else to do the same.

Best vets in town. I have a lot I could say about Parkcrest, but Ill keep it simple. They care. They will take your phone calls and let you know if you even need to bring your pet in. They take care of your sick/dying animal as if it were their own. Ive personally received phone calls at home checking in on one of our cats just to ensure things were going well and to check in on the dosage (after the dr. met with another specialist (for FREE!) to discuss my cats condition. The visits are priced just right and most medications that the cats might need is very affordable and can be bought at Walmart. I trust PVH.

I have been with Parkcrest for 27 years. My primary vet is Dr.Sherman but have had the opportunity to work with all 3 veterinarians in the office. I have received personal attention regarding my animals problems and solutions when needed. No one person or business is perfect but I feel this clinic does the best to their ability to care for my pets over the years. I highly recommend them for your pets primary care.

We have several pets, most of them with special needs. Dr. Ziegler is very knowledgeable and goes out of her way to answer all questions and find new alternatives for treatment. Also one early morning Dr. Sherman took the time out of her already scheduled day to help a cat I found hit on the side of the road. The entire staff is amazing and friendly. I completely trust them with lives of our furry family members.

We have been with Parkcrest Vet since 1995. Our pets have been patients of Dr. Z, but we have seen all of the vets at some point, and trust all of the doctors to care for them. You wont find a group more thorough and professional; yet, they genuinely show care and concern for their patients. They take time to explain what you need to know.

My dog Milo was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and they have taken great care of both Milo and me (I didnt take the news very well). They also do their best to save you money on any prescriptions you may need. Dr. Sherman came in on her day off to monitor Milos blood sugar. Everyone there is awesome!

The doctors & staff at Parkcrest Vet have taken care of my dogs for nearly 25 years. I wouldnt go anywhere else and cannot say enough good things about them. They are so caring and treat your pups or kitties as if they were their own.

Horrible place and awful grooming! They cut my dog on two consecutive occasions and didnt tell me and once it ended up absessed. They refused to take any responsibility or treat it. Manager never returned phone calls. Dont go here!

Love bringing my cats to Parkcrest. Dr Garoutte is fabulous - treats them like hed treat his own pet; and treats me like were two friends hanging out talking about our pets while he gives his expert advice.
