Fantastic No Frills Vet. Love their services. I have been to other veterinarians in town, and left paying hundreds of dollars to with "clinic fees" and "vet exam fees" and lots of random fees adding up to hundreds of dollars for a healthy dog yearly visit..... I am really sceptical of the negative reviews on here, because people obviously havent been to other vets in Springfield limits. Yes, you can always pay less at some big animal vet out in the middle of no where, but in springfield the Vets are extremely expensive!!! (seriously do your research) I think Dr. Bs Vet Clinic is outstanding! I can always get in here in a timely manner. He and his staff are kind, patient, and sweet to my dog. The vaccines are reasonably priced and the veterinarian is kind and explains everything thats going on. They can do in house procedures (spay etc.), and offer many options for lots of things. My pup is always treated well here and shes not even scared to come in any more. No, the building is not shiney and updated, but who wants to pay for that? This is a reasonable vets office, where they put their efforts into caring and treating your pets. Dr. B is knowledgeable and researched on many new medications for your pets. They are not pushing their dog food on their clients, but listen to what you want to do for your pets, and go from there. Truly outstanding service. I am so glad I found this office, I wont be taking my dogs anywhere else in town.

Charge me out the rear for medication.They knew the SKIN and EAR problem my German Shepperd has but did vary little to help her the first time and charged me a bunch of money.And they knew i had taken her several times to different vet before and received little help for her skin issue .I LOVE my dog but hate that the vets wont help her just want my money is how i feel about it!I went there to see if they could sell me some medication for my dog her skin problem "THEY KNOW ABOUT". NO they say i have to bring her in AGAIN so they can charge me 50 more dollars and OVER charge me for the meds.SKIN problem NOT pain pills or something a drug addict might take.Its just pathetic !!! NO worries I have found a vet that cares about the suffering of mine and my moms pets.Thank GOD Almighty.I remember years ago North Side didnt help a kitten my Brother had found and was dehydrated and dying.Because he was laid off work and didnt have the money they would not help.He even offered to come and clean cages or what ever they would not HELP!That kitten that he just found sick on the side of the road died.MONEY is all some people care about.My Dog is being treated by a different VET and for what I consider fair price for his services.

I think this vet is a rip off. I paid $6.50 for 30 caps of antibiotic in Marshfield and went to buy them from this vet and they wanted to charge me $67.60 for the same med. What a joke. I will tell everyone I know not to ever go there. It is a crying shame when you have a sick animal and want so much to provide the best care for them but then get ripped off by the vet at the same time. They should be ashamed. I never liked the receptionist much either, she always seems grumpy, too busy and not very friendly. My Marshfield vet was going to sell me a can of special Science Diet dog food for my dog who has lymphoma but they were out and so I went to Northside and they said if I wanted to buy the food form them I wood have to buy a case of it. Lets see at $3.00 a can and 24 in a case, that would be $72.00. I would not be able to return it if he would not eat it. So I did not purchase the food from them. They are a joke. I am ashamed for them.

If I could give a worse review I would! I called them needing help with a kitten that had gotten stuck with a fishing lure in both its back and front paw which caused them to be stuck together causing it to not be able to move and obviously made it freak out more on top of the pain it had to be going through. I needed them to help because I am coming from north of Willard and no one in Willard would help us. So while my nine year old daughter is crying hysterically holding this poor kitten the lady here told me they close at noon and didnt have time. I called before eleven o clock maybe closer to ten. I took her to emergency vet( a lot further away) and they had her done and OK within 45 minutes. It upsets me to know they care more about going home than helping an animal in need!!! Just another worthless human being not caring about helping animals in my opinion.

When I first moved to Springfield, I was apprehensive of finding a good veterinarian. I really liked the vet that I had. I called Northside and was immediately impressed with how quickly they got me in. When I arrived, the receptionists was very kind and friendly. Quickly getting all my info. Not once was she short or quick with me.(I know its a busy job and some people just cant handle doing all of those things at once) She knew her job and did it well. The veterinarian was both kind and informative. He also didnt rush me through the exam. He listened to me. Dealt with my concerns with compassion. If you want to be handled with respect and have your animals taken care of properly, I highly recommend Northside Animal Clinic and Dr. Boschen.

We took our cat to Northside Animal Clinic, after a terrible experience at All Creatures Pet Hospital. Northside was great. They immediately brought him in and X-rayed him, giving him an emergency IV. Apparently he was so dehydrated, his intestines were dryed up and unable to pass anything. With a 3 day and 2 night hospital stay, X-rays, hand feeding and multiple IVs, he finally passed the rubber NERF dart in his intestine. My final bill came in around $425. Amazing care, diagnosis and pricing. This place is now my Vet. With 2 cats and 4 dogs, they are now caring for all my animals. I just cant say enough about my experience with this place.

I refuse to give this place a good review i wouldnt have even put one star but i had to. After i paid $127 dollars for them to look at my very sick 4 month old pit they simply said he will be fine gave him iv fluids and sent him home no blood work nothing. 8 hours later he passed away. I knew he was sicker then they lead on but there was nothing i could do. I will boycot this vet with every ounce of my soul. They money was never the issue i just wanted my baby better. And because of this bastard my daughters heart is broken and i lost my baby. This man sgouldnt even have his license.

I called you yesterday after the baby squirrel my daughter found in yard got bit... we took care of this beautiful baby for 8 weeks did everything the pet store said. Waiting for the day she could go on her own. You refused to help Ophelia.. that was her name. My family had to watch her suffering all day and take her last breathe in my hands... i love animals. We took such good care of her only to be turned down bcuz she was wildlife .... she was LIFE... melissa
