My regular dentist sent me to Jungermann Dental to get a tooth extracted. After the extraction, I was told that I should "dump" my current dentist (who Ive been with for 7 years), and start coming there because the partial that was made for me didnt fit well. Mind you, I had only had my partial for about 6 months, and Ive never had a problem with it. I told the dentist that I just paid off my Care Credit card for the partial, and Im on Disability, and do not have any dental insurance. Once he found out I had a Care Credit card, all of a sudden I needed a root canal, 3 crowns, and an upper AND lower partial! The cost totaled over $8,000!!! I told him there was no way I was getting all of that work done just because I had a credit card to cover the cost. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the card is in my 85 year old mothers name, not mine because I have bad credit. He wouldnt listen to me, and asked me, "which is more important, your health, or money?" Are you kidding me? If it means my son and I being homeless because of a dental bill, then moneys more important! I told him no thanks, and went home. The next week, the office called me and wanted to know when I wanted to set an appointment to get all of this work done. I told them if I actually needed all of this work done, then why didnt my regular dentist tell me this? Then I told them I would never be back, to never call me again, and that I would never recommend their business to anyone. They are such a scam. I also found out the next day when my regular dentist called me very upset, that they called her and told her I was changing dentists, and would no longer be coming back to see her. Then, had enough nerve to see if she would refund me the money for the partial she just did for me, since it supposedly didnt fit right. I couldnt believe it. I will NEVER step foot back in that office, and if you dont want to be scammed, you wont either. I dont care if they were the last dental office on earth, I still wouldnt go there. Please take my advice, as well as the reviews before me...Youve been warned!!! One more thing, the day I was there, the entire office was leaving early and closing down for 4 days so they could all go to Cancun...guess I know why he scams people, huh?

I went to Jungermann Dental for 2 years. My previous dentist retired and I went by a recommendation of someone I knew. I will preface by saying I love going to the dentist and enjoy my twice a year cleaning. Like any human being, I am not perfect and have had cavities which I have had filled. My first visit found me with two new cavities and a tooth I was told needed a crown. Like any concerned person, I wanted to make sure I took care of it before it became worse. I trusted the doctor and began thinking of my course of action. Within seconds, I had an employee in my booth talking to me about my "payment options." Nevertheless, I took care of setting up the appointment and working to figure out how to pay for the work. Fast-forward two years. I have had two crowns, two root canals, countless fillings and countless fillings replaced (was told they were cracking). I feel foolish not catching on sooner, but I felt that perhaps my teeth were falling apart and I wanted to do what was necessary to preserve them. My last visit there, I went for a tooth cleaning (like normal). I have NEVER been afraid of the dentist, but I was beginning to dread going for fear of what they may find wrong (and how I would afford it). I was told I had FIVE cavities and AT LEAST THREE more teeth that needed crowns. My red flag went off. ALL of the sudden, I had all of these problems (and NO pain on my end). I left and never returned. I have gotten other opinions and I have NOTHING wrong with my teeth. I feel ashamed that I fell for their money-making scam and am outraged that they put me through (probably) unnecessary work. Who knows at this point? I probably didnt need my fillings replaced. I am FURIOUS that they would make up such nonsense to make money at the expense of my health and my savings. They should be ashamed. I am sure not everyone shares my opinion, but as I dig more and more, I find I am not alone in my feelings or my experience. I wanted to share.

My sister and I went in here for the first (and last) time (on 2/7/17) because they offered a discount for a checkup. My sister went first. She does not live in town. She had a flight to catch just a few hours later. They asked her about herself while doing the examination (including where she lives and how long she’s in town for). She doesn’t live in town and was told she had zero cavities. I went next. They asked me about myself ask well. I said I’ll be living in town for the next year or so. Throughout my cleaning and X-rays she kept saying my teeth were looking great and that it didn’t seem like there were any problems. She said she’ll check with the doctor and have him come in and make sure. Like previous reviews on here, he comes in and tells me that I have SIX cavities. My previous checkup was about seven months ago at a different location and they said my teeth were looking great. I was shocked to hear that I went from zero to six in seven months. They quickly handed me the price sheet asking which plan I wanted to take. I felt it didn’t seem right so I’d call them later with my decision. I also had previous fillings done and they said one of them needed to be redone; complete BS. You just don’t go from zero to six cavities in seven months when you are routinely brushing and flossing. Reading the other reviews on here confirmed my suspicions, and they are parallel to my experiences. They’ll offer discounts to patients who leave them good reviews, so I guess they don’t cheat everyone. Stay away from these guys. They will scam you.

FIRST OF ALL, keep in mind the majority of the negative posts youre reading about is from years ago. This is completely re-staffed with exceptional dentists. And to piggy back on the persons post below mes (Kyles) review Id like to say I swear they DO NOT PAY ANYONE TO LEAVE GOOD REVIEWS WHATSOEVER NOR GIVE DISCOUNTS. That is a very false accusation that could damage a perfectly wonderful business. My fathers a police officer and I would never do anything like that for a company who bribed me. Shame on you. ...I know a lot of you see poor reviews on here, but please read this and understand what happened before you bash this company. The problem no longer exists at Jungerman dental. I previously had work done by the dentist that is no longer there. He made a lot of mistakes that I now have to get corrected. That isnt the staffs fault. Luckily, he was finally removed from the practice and the new dentists there are phenomenal. I had Dr. Gritsan, and she is such a real, down to earth, experienced dentist that KNOWS what she is doing. And shes really funny and makes you feel comfortable!
