The scheduling was easy and Jennifer, the receptionist, was very friendly and pleasant. My apt was for 4, it took about 35 minutes before I was taken back, but in my opinion a good doctor is worth waiting for. The nurse Laura, got my vitals, but since a room wasnt ready yet she took me back to the lobby to wait another 5 minutes, which was completely fine with me. Another nurse took me to my room, summarized the reason for my visit and the doctor came in about 3 minutes later. I am a new patient. He was a nice doctor who maintained a good bedside manner. He showed interest for the reason I was there, as well as interest in another area for concern. He took the time to ask questions and get to know me. He confirmed my suspicions, and offered advice for additional follow up on a seperate issue as well. I got there at 3:50, and left at 5:30, which included x-rays. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the doctor, Stephen Williams was great. Finding a new doctor isnt easy, but they made it a good experience.

BEWARE. Dr. is probably a four or five star but the billing department and probably the nurses make using this Dr. risky at best. At least three times I am billed for services not performed. Seems this is a systemic problem with this office. They throw charges at your insurance company to see what sticks. Maybe this is how they fund their Christmas party but definitely unethical at best; possibly fraud. Most recent example got a bill for services performed on 2 27 2017. I never even saw, contacted, drove by or even thought about the doctor on that day. Saw Dr. in early Feb. was charged and paid. Had procedure done on Feb 20 and paid. Again, this isnt first time I was billed for services that never took place. I will be filing complaint with Atty Gen. Office of Nebraska.. And we wonder why health insurance is so high. This behavior doesnt help.

The doctor and staff are great. The nurses are competent and friendly. Also, the doctor spends a significant amount of time trying to diagnose and treat my health problems. He never seems to try and rush the appointment , like most other doctors. He actually listens to my concerns and addresses them thoroughly. The only con is the waiting time. Sometimes its less than 15 minutes, but sometimes there is up to an hour wait.

My visit with Dr. Stephen H. Williams was unproductive and actually quite distressing. His lack of compassion was disturbing to me. It is amazing I did not end up back in the ER considering my situation. I DO NOT recommend seeing Dr. Williams or Williams Family Medicine for any reason. The office staff, especially Lori Williams, is not very helpful either.

I have been a patient at Williams Family Medicine, starting with his father in May of 1971, I have seen Stephen H Williams since 1984. Over the numerous years I have trusted my health/ well being with 100% confidence. Dr Williams and his staff have always gone over and above to take care of their clients. I appreciate the level of service I always receive.

He has been my doctor my whole life and a great one at that. The only issue is the 1-2 hour wait in the lobby is just ridicules.

They lost my original apt. Rescheduled. Waited in the lobby for an hour, and finally left
