Believe it or not, this was a great experience. I never thought I would be giving a five-star review to a business that was poking me with a needle, but I am. The Quest Diagnostics office that I visited today at 6945 N Aliante Pkwy #104, North Las Vegas was exceptional. This office is almost clean enough to eat off the floor. The receptionist treated me and the other clients like we were the owner and it was holiday bonus time. When I was called into the back, the medical assistant treated me with respect and was also very friendly. I did not even notice that she was drawing the blood from my arm until she said: "Thats It, All done". This golden gem of an office is open Monday through Friday from 7 am - 3:30 pm. This is about my tenth time to this office, and its never busy. Your in-and-out luckily split. If youre in need of lab work at a Quest Diagnostics, this is the office to run to.

I would normally give this place a 5 star, because this place is very clean and since they changed their check-in system you get seen a lot sooner. And the younger girls that work there are wonderful. But there is an older woman named Kathy who always has a nasty attitude. Today she decided to yell at me for fanning myself while I was standing in line. And when I let her know that she was being very inappropriate to me, she chose to escalate the situation by arguing with me about how my fanning myself was making her nauseous and how my own discomfort (I was having a hot flash) was irrelevant to her. And when I asked her for her name because I was going to call corporate, she flat out ignored me. I got her name and the corporate number from another employee and called right there from the waiting room.

Took 45 minutes from waiting to sign in to getting my blood drawn, and there were at least 13 people ahead of me. Got there at 7 am when they opened so there was a line to sign in. You sign in on a tablet and then sit and wait to be called back. Theres a screen that shows your name and wait time. Once you go back, they do your paperwork, if you have any-mine was electronically sent in, and draw your blood, and then you leave. The waiting to sign in was the longest part because I got there when they opened. After signing in, I waited 15 minutes at the most. My phlebotomist was really nice. Hopefully their new system will keep things moving quickly. So much better then how they use to do it.

Got to lab before noon and it said on board 8 min till service, then sometime after 1 pm was told (lobby was full of people but only 3 when I got there) that the system was down and could only get service if we had our paperwork (I had mine) then had to sign in manually and when I finally got called at 1:20 pm one of the staff looked at my paper work and one of my test said "am" and for me to come back next week at 8 am! Wow why did someone not tell us the system was down and look at our paper work without the one hour 20 min. wait!!!!!

I went in and waited 15 min. and decided to come back later. I was on my lunch break and still had to eat. The waiting room was large and had plenty of chairs and a tv to watch. I wish there were more techs to draw blood. It seems that if they are scheduling spots a month out and have a waiting room full of people most of the time from 6 am til closing, that you could have a shortage in staffing.

Frontdesk removed me from the waiting list and made me wait for 2 hours. She said I do not have to sign in again. All new comers got in before me. Ive been here before for the drug test but today she just have to make me wait. This happened when she realized I signed in with appointment by mistake but she thought I intentionally lied to skip the line.

I arrived before they opened to see a line had already formed. It is clean and the workers were nice. Just be aware you will be there awhile, think of it like the DMV with lots of senior citizens, and a tv.

Never a long wait and the phlebotomists there always do a good job with the blood draw itself. You dont feel very much discomfort at all.
