I have never in my life met a doctor who made such nasty comments about my weight as Dr. Rose did. As a girl who has struggled with weight issues my whole life I have always been incredibly embarrassed of my body and have dealt with self confidence issues. I am now a 22 years old and have been able to gain confidence in myself and my body but going to Dr. Rose when I was in middle school was the worst decision and just made me feel even worse about my insecurities. This happened years ago when I was around 12 and it still strongly imprinted in my memory. I had been trying to lose weight on a diet and was talking to Dr. Rose about it saying that I had not been the best on the diet but was trying. She then proceed to weigh me and take my height and when she read my weight she said the nastiest and most unprofessional thing a doctor could say, "Well apparently you havent been trying too hard," and then made a laughing/smirking noise. As a doctor that is supposed to promote positive body image in young girls, that was one of the worst things she could have said and I distinctly remember feeling so embarrassed and hated my body and self even more at that time. I was so embarrassed I never told my mom about this and continued going to Dr. Rose for a few years until my family had further problems with her and switched doctors. DO NOT GO TO DR. ROSE. Looking back now I wish I switched doctors sooner and found one who helped me understand healthy ways to loose weight instead of trying to embarrass and shame me into it. I dont want any other girls dealing with body issues to have to deal with such a hurtful and negative doctor and hope if you are considering going to Dr. Rose you consider going somewhere else.

Dr. Rose has become more than a doctor to my two children; she is a friend to them now that they are older. The terrible teens can be so dramatic and difficult, and Dr. Rose found the perfect balance between tough love and guidance. A doctors role is to share the facts with patients and advise how to promote health. We dont always like what we hear, but ultimately, the truth surfaces. If we care about our childrens health and emotional well-being, we need more like Dr. Rose in the medical field. Please call upon her with confidence!
