The guy you want directing traffic when you need medical care. Dr. Monkarios assumed the role of my doctor when I was recently admitted to the ER at CentraState hospital in Freehold. My primary doctor to date was a specialist in Hackensack and I needed a local results oriented guy. My situation was complex requiring doctors from oncology, infectious disease, podiatry, general surgery and orthopedic surgery. He directed the various specialists and rapidly got them engaged making sure his patient received the sometimes urgent care that was needed. He consistently spends the time both you and he need when you meet. Hes a good listener and has the bedside manner everyone wishes their doctor had.
