I actually havent had the medical test that I am scheduled for yet. However, the experience of making the appointment was so poor that I am beginning to doubt the competence of the facility. First, the person scheduling the test scheduled me for the wrong test. I quickly corrected that error, but then I was offered an earlier, more desirable, appointment time. I replied via email that I wanted it, twice, but got no response, I called and left a voice mail (after hours) but got no return call as of 4:00PM the next day. When I called then, I got voice mail again. Finally I got to an operator. Why was I calling? To get the address. I have several emails from them, a full patient itinerary (two if you count the wrong test) and nowhere is the address provided.

Had an MRI at the Amubulatory center. They use an outside company who bills separate, Imaging Consultants of Essex. Needless to say the outside company did not bill my insurance, had no idea it was a separate charge and a few months later got sent to collection. After several phonecalls, over seven months, I finally was able to get them to bill my insurance. Turns out they participated in my insurance and my $400 bill was reduced to $103 and they had to adjust the rest. This company would not take me off collection which impacted my credit rating.Advice is go anywhere else for MRI, do not use St. Barnabus. St. Barnabus did call me, but never did anything, and never got back to me.

I had been to MRI unit if the Ambulatory Care Center. I was having my doubts of this test. Luckily my experience at MRI Unit removed all my fears about this. Thanks due to the finest technician Mr. Utpal Shah. He made me very comfortable all throughout the procedure. A very expert technician. I am thankful to him. Mr. Shah really provided me an exceptional care. Thanks ambulatory center for providing wonderful caring service.

The MRI department at St Barnabas is terrible! No one answers calls, no one takes any interest in patient care, and their billing almost seems like a criminal scam. Before you schedule an MRI at St Barnabas, do yourself a favor and look at the google reviews for their billing service, Imaging Consultants of Essex. Ask yourself: do you want to trust your health to these people?

Appointments are E-Z to schedule in this very attractive atmosphere. Ive been having my DEXA screenings and annual mammograms at St Barnabas for many years and now my eye doctors are there as well. Also there is plenty of convenient parking available.

From the time I entered, it was a positive experience. Mena greeted me. Maria at reception was very friendly , And both technologists Eillen and Diana S made me feel very secure. Glad I had my mammogram and Dexa scan done here.
