I am shocked to read these other reviews?! Dr Wong is the best dentist I could dream of! Ive been going to him since I was a kid and lived in the Marlton area, but after a recent tooth emergency struck in center city Philadelphia -- Im more appreciative/ devoted/ amazed by Dr. Wong than ever before. Out of the blue one night in the summer, there was an intense pain in my mouth that woke me up from sleep. Since it came from nowhere, I tried to live with it for a day or two to see if it would as mysteriously go away. The pain was terrible -- couldnt think, couldnt sleep, couldnt be helped with OTC painkillers. It got to the point that I literally just wanted all suspect teeth to be ripped out of my mouth. Even though Dr. Wong has been my life-long dentist, out of desperation I went to a very reputable, Philadelphia-based dentist. While there, they examined my teeth, did X-rays, and told me the problem was from grinding my teeth at night. The solution? Take Tylenol, and come back for a night-guard. This didnt feel like a plausible explanation, and the pain was only getting worse. This was not the time to try someone new -- this was the time to go to my tried-and-true expert. Dr. Wong was able to squeeze me in as an emergency, and when he looked at my X-rays, there was a tiny shadow that was missed by the other office -- but thanks to Dr. Wongs incredible experience and knowledge, he was able to figure out that what I really needed was a root canal! It was not a fun experience, but I was so thankful for an accurate diagnosis, and the immediate pain relief it brought! Dr. Wong is everything youd want your dentist to be; gentle, kind, thorough, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about everything tooth related. (His staff is wonderful too. :) ) After my last foray, I will never stray again: Pavilion Dental for life!

Customer Service is altogether missing... We were patients of Dr. Wong for many, many, years. We were overcharged year after year, time and time again, as were our insurance cariers. We had to argue often with his bookkeeper to get reimbursed. This finally came to a head this year in yet another argument with his bookkeeper, where we asked for a return call from the Doctor on the matter... Dr. Wong never returned that call. Finally...and Yes there were several visits between the argument and the end of this story... he cancelled my cleaning by advising my wife...only AFTER her visit was complete...Dr. Wong never called, never called back, never stepped up to cancel the appointment himself and never addressed the multiple overcharges...in short...ONE BIG Customer Service FAIL. We plan on finding a new dentist right away.. I think theres one next door...Looking back at all of the referrals we gave him over the years, what a mistake...Ill think well take the referrals with us. I wonder if he thinks about why his business has stopped growing and is moving in the other direction...perhaps he blames the healthcare...the economy...competition, who knows? I remember working as a cashier and my manager at the time telling me if was worse if my drawer was over than under, under meant a customer was shorted...If I were overcharging customers Id want to know what happened, how it happened and why Dr. Wong should probably should start looking at his business more closely..and if I were in his position and didnt have the expertise to follow the money trail, Id probably start with looking for an auditor. Good Luck Dr. Wong.. ...my advise... you had a good practice going at one time...start looking around before its gone

Dr. Wong, his receptionist and billing coordinator, Gloria and their hygienist, Doris are all kind, genuine, competent and respectful professionals. It is always a pleasure to see everyone. And whenever I have a dental emergency or even a follow-up concern, the office staff always makes time for me and Dr. Wong takes care of it with the self confidence that you want in a medical professional.

As 50 year old adults my wife and I both agree there are way better dentist out there than Wong. His staff was nice but after much uncaring painful treatment, all of his work failed. Did he offer a discount to repair his poor workmanship? Not a chance.

Dr. Wong is an exceptional dentist. He is honest, intelligent, skilled and caring. I am shocked reading some of these negative reviews!! I worked for Dr. Wong in the past and I have nothing but positive things to say about him and his staff.
