DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE I dont know how I could possibly rate this location poorly enough. I brought my seemingly healthy cat to them and asked questions exhaustively. I asked about her weight, dietary changes, energy/lethargy, behavior...quite literally everything I could think of. This lazy vet brushed off every question, assured me she was perfectly healthy and rushed us out the door. My cat died about one month later from massive liver and kidney failure that had been getting progressively worse for some time. When we ran blood tests on her at the animal hospital, they advised she would need to but put down because her levels were very bad and treatments would likely be ineffective at this point. The 2nd vet, at the animal hospital, accurately described the cats condition without even running the blood tests, and moreover, seemed to care. That cat was a family member to us and I waited months before writing this review so I could objectively articulate the spectacular failure of Washington Street Veterinary Service. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE

Is there a way to give zero stars on here and still rate them??? They are total money grabbers. I went twice and got ripped off both times. First they gave me medicine that I cannot use with my dog because I am pregnant and they would not reimburse me for it even though it was not used. Two weeks later they charged me $68 to cut her nails. Even after my husband & I both complained they would not budge on the price claiming that seeing my dog for 5 minutes is the reason for the price. The Dr. also refused to call us back to discuss the matter. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU HAVE TONS OF MONEY TO THROW AWAY!!!

This will be the most expensive vet that you ever take your pet to. From the examination, to any additional tests, to medication, you will end up spending hundreds of dollars for simple problems such as a common infection. I think this steep rise in costs occurred within the past year or so. Its a shame because I actually like the vet and facility.

Dr Nesvold was great! We took our sick cat there and she was extremely helpful and caring. Another vet told us our cat needed a very expensive surgery, but Dr Nesvold told us she could heal her without. Weeks later, our cat is like a kitten again (not to mention all the money we saved). I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Nesvold treated our dog with respect and got a dog who hates vets to accept her. Another vet in the area used excessive violence for the same situation and made things worse. The medication and treatment was always what was needed. She comes with our string recommendation.

I have been bringing my dogs to Doctor Nesvold for years. They like her and she has always taken good care of them. Her facility is clean and comfortable. I have no complaints and would recommend her to any dog owners.

My experience in this office has been very positive. I think Dr Nesvold is very knowledgeable. The fees in the office are about the same as every other office I have been to.
