I have been to this facility numerous times and have never had an issue. That was not the case my last visit. I was first seen by a nurse named John and from the get go he was very rude. He would ask me basic intake questions (ie symptoms, current meds, etc) and as I would answer them, he would cut me off and move on to the next question. His tone and demeanor was rushed and cold. He then proceeded to tell me that I was not having a reaction to a new medication (funny enough- this is exactly what doctor diagnosed me with). He was abrasive when speaking to me and had he let me speak fully I would have been able to accurately describe my situation. I was already feeling quite lousy and his attitude did not help my symptoms at all. I guess bedside manner is not his strong suit. Luckily the doctor (Dr. Hughes) on staff was incredibly friendly and listened to ALL I had to stay before making an informed decision (and what do you know? Medication reaction!). John must have known how rude he was as he did not come near me for the rest of the night (I guess making a sick patient cry tipped him off). New nurse that took care of my was wonderful as was Dr. Hughes which is why I gave 3 stars (would be five if not for John). This will not stop me from going back to facility however if nurse John is assigned to me I would promptly ask for a new nurse. John should stick to being a nurse and leave the diagnosing to the doctors.

It gets a three star rating because that is average of 1 and 5, because two different areas need to be rated and addressed. 1. 5 Stars: staff very attentive and friendly, short wait, compassionate care, addressed my emergency and made me well. 2. 1 Star: Apparently the doctor bills in addition to the facility. There was no mention of this at discharge. I received hospital bill and am paying the hospital in installments for my visit. I now receive a collections notice from the doctor. However, I dont recall ever receiving a bill and I NEVER ONCE got a phone call from anyone to ask me where payment was. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL way to do business. So much so I will drive out of my way to never come here again. I would rather be sick than deal with insurance or A-hole collections people who assume your are deadbeat and treat as such. Need complete transparency in medical and insurance billing.

Came here for some food stuck in my throat (could still breathe, no emergency, but it wasnt resolving itself). They said thats id probably have to go to the ER if it didnt work itself out, left me alone for 20 minutes (at which point the food went down on its own) and I asked to leave. They insisted I stay, had a doctor come over after 20 more minutes and put a stethoscope to my lungs, and sent me along my way. Got a $1800 bill for that. This is a purely profit enterprise that tries to pass itself as an Urgent Care until the bill comes. These "Standalone Emergency Departments" are a new up and coming enterprise that refuses to be transparent about costs. Once again, you will be charged 1045 dollars for walking through the doors, and the doctor will charge you an additional ~800 for the visit. These charges are for the lowest level ER visit that involves any sort of Doctor (Level 2).

Beware this is Not a walk in type of clinic it is an emergency room my son and I went for an eye infection and my insurance got charged over $4000 and didnt pay the full amount for my son and i received a bill for $870!!! Biggest scam going the doctor wouldnt even come within 10 feet of the bed I was sitting in, in fear he would get my infection. He miss diagnosed my infection it was viral conjunctivitis and had to go to yet another doctor to get the right medication which cost me ZERO DOLLARS!! The person in reception should inform you that this in not a medical clinic but charges as an emergency room visit and that the cost would be split in 2 one from Doctor for $782 and one from the building for $1059.00!!! This is why insurance companies are going bankrupt because of companies like MERIDAIN HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS scamming them. How does this company get away with this!!

This place is a TOTAL scam. I went in with my 7 year old daughter on a saturday because we both had a terrible cough with wheeze after returning from a ski trip, and neither of us could get in to see our regular doctor. There was no wait, the lady at reception told me there would be a $200 co-pay. We saw the doctor together, she examined us for about 5 minutes, told us we both had bronchitis and gave us each an RX for Zpack. No x-rays or or blood work, nothing else. Then i get a bill for each of us from meridian for $1,000 each, and from the physicians group for $600 each - so a 15 minute appt. is supposed to cost us $3200!!!! OUTRAGEOUS and UNFAIR. Completely misleading website says they are urgent care but they bill insurance like an emergency room. AWFUL, misleading, robbery!!!!!!!!

Total insurance scam! Dont ever go to this place, they bill a ridiculous high amount for the level of care they provide. Check with your insurance first and go to one of their urgent care centers instead. I cant believe how these place get away with this!!! Tried to call their billing department to come to an agreement (got charged $1700 for a 10 min visit over Memorial Day weekend) got charged close to $1000 that we have to pay ourselves - no willingness or what so ever to come to an agreement) Even if our Insurance company would have paid the amount, I still truly believe that the amount is way too high) In addition my husband was given the wrong prescription during the visit, his Urologist had to prescribe him another one after the weekend that did help. Will NEVER go there again.

My mom was an in-patient this week. Some of the staff were very attentive and the emergency room care was good except that we had to wait for five hours in the hallway. My mother had a skin condition, among other issues, and I asked four different nurses for some treatment.. Each one promising to help and nothing was done. Also it was very difficult to get a nurse when you needed one. Often there was not even anyone in the hallway to assist. There were long waits when the call button was pushed. This is not a hospital I would choose to go to in the future. I dont know when they clean the rooms because I never saw anyone cleaning the floors, etc.

Arrived 3:30 am & to my surprise you were open. I puuted going - dreading the need for stiches but the pain was overwhelming. I had sliced my finger earlier that night. Your staff was wonderful, prompt & professional. Dr Jose Dugenio made my fear of needles & stiches simply go away - He was kind & efficient - especially surprising for that time of night !! In other words - you made a terrified experience a pleasure. I will never hesitate again. Thank you
