On vacation in Cape May. Cracked my tooth and called this place on th recommendations of numerous local people plus another dentists office. Explained the situation to the woman who answered the phone. she had to check to see what they could do for me. After holding on the phone for a bit, she came back to tell me that they could not see me for the problem i was having a cracked tooth, but they could see me as a new patient and x-ray and clean my teeth??????really. I just wanted someone to look at the tooth and possibly temporarily fix it so we could stay a few more days and finish our vacation. they claim to have emergency services... that is unlikely at best. we can xray and clean your teeth but we cant help you with the problem you are calling about. Needless to say we ended our vacation after only 2 days and I have an appointment with a real dentist today. Called the dentist back home...no im not a patient of his, my husband is., yesterday after trying to find a dentist in CM...and gave me an appt today. so forget emergencies at this place.....

Certainly my primo spot in Cape May County is the BEACH! However, when it becomes necessary to have dental work done, I am happy to say that I have found the primo spot for that, too. And it is Dr. Akshay Rajpal, DDSs chair at Family Dental on Rte. 9 in Rio Grande, NJ. For the many visits I have made, he has been consistently friendly, comforting, skilled and efficient. The assistants in the practice, especially Arriele, are very congenial while fulfilling their duties in a very responsible manner. The ladies in the front office, Mary and Debbie, who say hello and goodbye are delightful, fun to talk to, and work very hard to accommodate billing and scheduling requests. So... my recommendation for this practice is a 5 STAR one.

My wife found this place after we first moved here. I went with her and had a bad feeling about the place as soon as i walked in. She had x-rays and the normal stuff for the cleaning. The dentist said she had two cavities. She had one fixed that day. Mind you my better half has never had any teeth problems her entire life, not once. She then went to her normal dentist in PA (that she has been going to for all her life) and had new x-rays done. Come to find out that she had no cavities even though Cape May Family Dental said other wise. My feeling is that they used us for our insurance and nothing more. Horrible Dental practice. Stay away!!!

I have to just respond to the last review made by Gena. I have been coming to Cape May Family Dental for almost 5 years and have had nothing but awesome experiences as well as stellar service. My kids and my husband and I are all patients here and they are fantastic. They have always gone above and beyond and so although Im sorry you feel like your experience was less than it should have been, I would just encourage you to reach out to them and handle this in person as opposed to bashing them online. Just my opinion.

I tried to make a appointment for my son today and I spoke to Denise who was very rude on the phone, she said I couldnt make his appointment for him because he is an adult, I dont what that has to do in making an appointment for him???? He has to work during the day and was trying to help him out. What happen to curtiosity and customer service. Its called family and helping one another, no matter what age we are.

Wonderful went here when I was on vacation at my summer home in Wildwood the experience was so great and the prices they charge are very reasonable. I was so impressed and very happy with the staff this is now my dentist. Now I travel 100 miles for my dentist visits and it is well worth it. My previous dentist price gouged me. I am now saving thousands of dollars per year and my teeth never felt better. I highly recommend Cape May Family Dental.

Go there for cavitites. Got my front teeth done and about a week they started to burn when anything cold touched it. So i told them and he "fixed" it then he put this sensitive solution on it to help...it didnt do anything. That was about a month ago. So today, i go to a new dentist and they tell me that he didnt fill my cavity all the way...seriously...so now its a possibility i might need a root canal... so thanks cape may family dental.

They failed to catch a problem with 2 teeth that were bothering me. I went in complaining and got an X-ray. They said nothing was wrong with them but it continued to bother me. Got a second d opinion and I needed two root canals and crowns. One of my teeth was so bad that I might even lose it. Very dissapointed. They are nice and caring people, especially the dental hygienists but how could they not catch something like this?

They do horrible work. I received a permanent crown ( which is not spouse to come out) and it falls out at least once every 5 months once while I was eating grilled cheese and one while I was eating a salad. I have had another 2 caps from another dentist for 17 years now which NEVER budged. Guess its all about collecting insurance money that they get to "fix" the tooth. Do yourself a favor and find ANYOTHER dentist.

i went to a chain to get dentures!! they were so thin they broke apart i went to cape may family dental they did 3 impressions and the dentures are amazing!!!!!!!!! compassionate staff i love this place i refer them to everyone!!!! my husband bob is the patient the other chain dentist told us they were premium dentures and charged 2000 and call themselves afforadable!!!!!

i have been going to this office for many, many years and most of the visits have been excellent in the treatments that i recieved. i had a little problem 1 time and they worked everything out to my satisfaction. i had extractions, root & canals and fillings and all procedures went painless as could be expected. office staff and doctors as well as the assts. are very good.

I was actually one of there first patients. 3 years ago I was there every month. I had to get a checkup xrays teeth pulled in preparation to get my braces on. It was a great environment and they were very clean. They had payment arrangements as well..all in all it was very pleasant. I will definitely be looking in to going to get my teeth cleaned soon!

I liked them very much. Very friendly and nice but not too much. I was seen promptly. The office was very clean. My procedure went smoothly and with no pain. I came here because my daughter recommended them and Im glad I did. Sorry that the previous poster was not happy but I am and so is my daughter and grandchildren.
