I am a veterinary technician. I never used this vet for my own animals but took few cats for my friend there. They were very unprofessional and on few occasions misdiagnosed some serious issues. Due to that couple of the cats died. We tried all doctors in this practice and all are bad. They refuse to take blood in front of you because they have no clue what they are doing. I pushed my way to the back to learn that doctor let her technicians take blood and than said they do it better. Same with taking urine via needle. (that was Dr K- the daughter). She is only vet with her dad because she would not make it anywhere else. Father has no patience to explain you stuff. Needles to say my friend is not going there any more.

My new puppy injured herself ..dr.brevitz made me feel terrible because she said I could of killed dog putting her on a line..people like me arent educated on this kind of thing but she looked at me and treated me like I had done this on purpose..she fractured her shoulder had a two thousand dollar surgery..no one was with her over nite and no one from the office including surgeon followed up on my puppy...I have always been happy with the vets here but the quality of care is not where it once was..I also had a mis diagnosis with another of my animals. Very upset with caring and follow up..because there was none..

DONT TAKE YOUR PETS THERE ! The worst animal hospital ever, Ive been taking my dogs there for a couple of years and they are so inconsiderate of your pets its unbelievable. I had to put my dog down unfortunately and they still continue charge my account for my dead dogs medicine. Not only that, I boarded my other dog there for one week, she came back home with the worst kennel cough. Which comes from infectious animals or aroma; meaning they dont clean their kennels or area where the dogs will be all day. Worst hospital/boarding place in all of NJ!

The business is a mill running up charges and is not a vet clinic. Brought my dog in for a Bordatella vaccination and boarding. My pet instead came back with an infection. The practice offered a free exam to prescribe the expensive medication, the same exam that cleared him for good health before. Pet owners need doctors who care about their patients this is not the place for that care.

The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They understood our lifestyle and provided recommendations that fit within our comfort zone. They took time to spend with each of our 2 dogs and even followed-up twice after the visit. I highly recommend this vet for any pet parent that is looking for quality care and individualized attention.

I had a very good experience here today. I just adopted a cat and was nervous bringing him in because Ive never had a cat before. I must have asked a million questions and everyone was very kind and answered me graciously. Im so relieved I have this wonderful place to bring my new cat for his health needs.

The dr.s and technicians at Summit Dog and Cat Hospital are simply the best. My dog is the love of my life, and Dr. K. and her staff always provide the best care. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. You can be confident that your furbabies will receive the best care possible!

Like the hospital. Staff, technicians are very good and helpful. Dr. Brevitz is the vet who took care of my dog. He is a rescue and came with all kinds of problems. She actually cured him. I am glad I went to this hospital.
