The ladies where nice but the doctor just came right in took one look at my bird and said hes dying. No remorse no easing it in just straight hes dying. Then he had the nerve to suggest we try to save him but it would cost $1500-$2500? But he will still most likely die? U just told me my bird had no chance but your willing to take my money? Then Im leaving and he walks out saying he you know what I didnt ask would you like some antibiotics for your bird ? Like seriously? While Im leaving you find a way to try to get money out me anyway and tell me my bird has a 5% chance without the antibiotics but a 25% chance if I pay he $250 for antiobiotics ? This guy was a crook. He doesnt care about anything else except making money. He didnt do really anything at all but of course I paid the exam fee for him telling me my birds dying before he even examined him ? Oh and the exam was a joke listened to its heart beat for 15 seconds? $80 bucks for that? Smdh. I would never take any of my pets here ever again. Only came here because it was the closest Avian vet to my home 35 min away. Worst vet doctor ever. Im a true animal lover and the way he told me my bird was dying just crushed me. And in front of my 5yr old daughter to. Thank god she didnt hear him.

the worst vet on the planet. I brought my dog here on a recommendation from a friend. what went on from that day were thousands from my pocket for test after test ordered by Dr.Wolf which told him nothing I finally got fed up when after paying over $3000 was told he want to run additional tests for in his own words " a long shot" then proceeded to tell me that if I had to put my dog down he would have to charge me for an extra office visit...... after all this I decided to go to a different vet where a friend of mine worked. after just a short physical exam the other Vet was certain it was lymphoma and my dog was in the end stages. he was put down that day and the office visit was waived. these heartless monsters at companion bleed me dry and planned on keeping it going for nothing.... stay far away if you value your pet please stay away..... P.S. its been 6 monthts since my dog passed and not so much of a follow up from companion on to how he was doing.

In 2011, I had the great misfortune of not only losing my job, but also my two beloved cats due to illness. One I had for 10 years and the other going on 18. They were both treated throughout their lives by the Companion Animal Hospital on Route 46 in Parsippany, NJ, by both Dr. Wolf and Dr. Tsai. During those years of exams, vaccinations, checkups, hiccups, and eventual euthanasia, I could not have asked for better service, convenience, thoughtfulness and downright care for my "family members." Even though this story ends with a sad ending, I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to any local animal lover. They truly do care for you and for your pets, and I cannot wait until I revisit the clinic with my next feline for the beginning of the next journey. At Companion, the slogan on their business card is: "theyre not just pets....theyre family!" And that is truly the case....from someone whos been a client since 1994.

We were very happy with the treatment our dog used to receive from Dr. Tsai, but he recently had an urgent glandular problem and my husband had to take him to see Dr. Wolf instead. During that visit, Dr. Wolf explained that we apparently shouldve been bringing him in for regular treatment once a month since the last time we had this same problem about a year ago. No one on the staff (or Dr. Tsai) ever told us that though, so our dog apparently just got an infection that couldve been avoided if they had given us all of the information we needed in order to prevent it. Since we had no way to definitively prove that they forgot to give us that crucial info a year ago, they refused to discount the very expensive bill for his latest treatment or take any responsibility for our dogs unnecessary pain and suffering. We will no longer be taking our pets to this practice.

I brought my pugs there for vaccines and I was not allowed to be in the same room with them. Although I was polite, I was treated with complete and utter disdain and they refused to accept my ATM card, they wouldnt even look at it, much less accept it. They insisted on a check. Who writes checks? Its the year 2010, people dont carry around their checkbooks. I told them that I would have to come back to pay after going to the ATM and they tried to block me from leaving. Finally, after 30 minutes of them giving me a hard time, they decided to accept my ATM card. Dr. Tsai and her staff are INSANE.

Simply an amazing vet. We have been taking our cats and ferrets here for over 5 years. Dr. Wolf is highly educated and has always been very compassionate and accurate. The whole staff loves our animals as much as we do and know them by name. They even send our animals holiday gifts and cards! We have had two ferrets pass in the past 5 years and Dr. Wolf and the staff has always been extremely empathetic. We couldnt ask for a better vet. Im baffled by what some of these other reviews say, they simply are not accurate.

Fantastic practice! They have been our vet for almost 10 years -for well checkups, teeth cleanings and illnesses. Dr. Wolf is an incredible diagnostician. By asking the right questions he was able to figure out what was wrong with my cat and treat her when she wasnt asking like herself. The followup by the staff was above and beyond. Everyone at Companion Animal Hospital is professional and friendly. They treat us like family.

We love these vets! Our 12 year old German shepherd, Rex, sees Dr. Tsai for acupuncture to ease his "old man" aches :) Our African gray loves to visit Dr. Wolf - she gets very excited when she sees him. They are great about accommodating us when emergencies come up. Dr. Wolf stayed late one night to make sure Rex was ok after we rushed him over because he ate something he wasnt supposed to... They are a great team!
