I would like to say When Dr Marmer leaves so will I. However, I will be taking my business to Murray Hill In New Providence or another locally owned Business. This is for sure. Your new administration is wrapping the public with fees and misleading upgrade to the animals care. I cannot trust that they are in it for the wellbeing of our animals as I feel they are line their pockets with misleading info. I am all about free market and honest work, which I am not sure I got at the NEW BHAH. After spending $300+ for a yearly checkup for my dog and a series of shots …. that I am not even sure she needed I was charged an additional fees for the second shot that I through was included in the initial 300+. They sent me a bill and I figured my time is limited, ( they don’t have a way to pay on line or I would have Or at least I didn’t see it and I would pay on line) ill get them on my next visit not like I am skipping town. They sent it to collections, which is out of line given my longevity with the practices. I did pay it through the credit company, but will take my business ells where. So long to the local doctor, Hello to big business .

My dog had a wart and it was recommended I go to Dr. Coleman for medication (azithromycin) that he had given another patient. So I called and explained that I was referred to him and asked if I could come in and pick up the medication. They said sure. I brought my dog in and he said that he would not give this medication to her and then nicely slapped me with a $65 bill. I didnt want to make a scene so I paid it and then contacted them afterward asking why would you make me take the time out of my day to come there if you knew you werent going to give me the medication. They didnt really an explanation and werent willing to give my $65 back. I felt they just screwed me out of $65 and would NOT recommend them to anyone! I contacted the BBB and Dr. Coleman gave no response back to them! Ive never written an online review before or ever contacted the BBB so this is how upsetting this was to me. Horrible service!!

WE have loved coming to see Dr. Murmur for the past several years. He was recommended to us by a family friend that brings their two dogs to Murmur for several years now. We love his easy going nature, and how he didnt nickel and dime us for everything. Once after my dog had ACL surgery, my dog took our most of her stitches. I called him in a panic, the office fit me in, and he reassured me my dog was going to be fine. He didnt charge me for this visit, because literally all he did was take a look, and put some ointment on it. The other vets I have been to would charge me well over $100 for something like this. I will say with the new administration thats come in, things have changed a bit, and they are starting to rack up the charges quite a bit. So I dont know if I will continue if this becomes unaffordable.

Dr Marmur and his staff are passionate about taking care of animals. Theyre tender and loving attitude toward my 3 dogs - whether it be for a checkup, an illness, or an injury - always made me feel comfortable and confident. The care and treatment my dogs have received from Berkeley Heights Animal Hospital is second to none and I highly recommend them. Side note: I happened to run into Dr Marmur at a local restaurant and he asked me how my dogs were doing - mentioning all three of them by name! It amazed me that, even with all of his patients, and after not seeing me or my dogs for months, he remembered all of their names!

I have worked with Dr. Marmur and the Berkeley Heights Animal Hospital for nearly ten years now. He has provided excellent care over the years for my three three-legged cats (really!), and I couldnt be more pleased. He has never refused to see me even on short notice when my cats were in need of help. He is truly dedicated to his profession and it shows in all that he does. PS, The below review complaining about Dr. Coleman is woefully out of date. Dr. Coleman opened his own practice in Gillette and left this practice years ago.

My experience has always been great. I have had a lot of different dogs over the years and they have helped me with puppies and end of life situations with sensitivity and kindness. I also like having a lot of eyes behind the scenes in case the vet taking in a pet needs a specific kind of consultation. There is always more than one person to get advice from. I needed that once and it seemed like everyone weighed in on the problem so I did not need to go elsewhere for anything.

Dr. Marmur and the wonderful ladies that work at Berkley Heights Animal Hospital truly go above and beyond. Sophie, my pup, found herself in some sticky situations when I first adopted her. Every time shes gone in, I know shes felt welcomed and comfortable, which is very important! Dr. Marmur takes the time to have a conversation, follow up and has even seen us past business hours! Great guy! Thx to the team!

Their professionalism, compassion, and concern for the health of our beloved pets is unmatched. Dr. Marmur is a wonderful Vet. He literally saved one of my dogs life at the last minute. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else for any of my dogs needs.

Really like the feel of this place now. Ive been going for years but it feels like a real veterinary hospital - smells better; looks better; they seem to be taking more of an interest in my dog. Id recommend checking it out. The staff is very friendly and quite knowledgeable.
