DO NOT USE THIS DERMATOLOGY GROUP!!! They kept us waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. Dr. Rothman finally entered and told us he could not help my daughter. My daughter is an established patient at the Dermatology Group from the Verona office. My daughter had been on Acutaine and needed to go on another course. Dr. Rothman was extremely rude, discourteous and dismissive. My daughter had all the preliminary work done prior to this appointment: blood work, waited one month, verbal approval from her other doctor, etc. We were unable to get an apt. at the Verona office and were told we could see anyone in the group. However, it seems that is not the case. THANKS FOR TELLING US!!! I wasted 3 hours on a Saturday morning. MY TIME IS VALUABLE TOO!!! No one apologized -- especially for the extremely long wait -- no one cares, except for one nurse and Im sorry I didnt get her name. We had extremely long waits in the Verona office as well, and the PA, Shannon is washed-off and disinterested. Im completely done with The Dermatology Group!!! I told them that they are losing a patient, the doctor shrugged. He doesnt give a ****. No one says hello, good-by, thank you. There is no customer service at all, no civility and no respect for the patients. They dont care and its acutely obvious. One star is way too much, they should get -10 stars.

Dr. Groisser is by far the worst physician Ive ever seen in my lifetime. My husband and I had an appointment with him for a first time visit and after waiting over an hour after our scheduled time, we were finally brought into the exam room. Dr. Groisser entered the room and spent less than 90 seconds with each of us. The most appalling thing was that my initial concern and reason for the appointment had taken a back seat as I had recently sustained 2nd degree burns to my face and instead of examining me, Dr. Groisser leaned in (without gloves) and told me in his abrupt and awkward manner that I would have marks on my face for over 2 years. When I asked if he thought a plastic surgeons input would be prudent - he said that "they dont have any witchcraft that could make this better" and then said that in a couple of months, they would be adding a plastic surgeon to their group so I could see him then. WOW! Talk about a bottom line. I would definitely NOT recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor who is attentive and spends at least 5 minutes with a patient when I know for a fact hes billing a 45 minute visit.

In one word "INCOMPETENT"! Rude- lazy- Staff is rude as well as P.As- The P.As are running it! The care is unacceptable! They ignore what is clearly in sight. No compassion or proper care.. You would get better care in a 3rd world country! How hard is it to read a referral and order blood work. They continue to look back at a diagnosis from 2014.. All I kept asking was for her to find out what this new condition was- clearly not the same what was in 2014.. and she would not- They also violated my HIPAA privacy... Discussed diagnosis with someone and got the report from them with my diagnosis in it.. Not someone from the group.,... Lets just say that -without getting into details. I also recorded the whole assessment while in the examination room w/my phone on the table. The exam was short ignored medical records from other Drs that referred me to them for treatment..It is a waste of time -Reported to the medical board for incompetence and HIPPA privacy laws -DO NOT GO THERE! NO STARS! (00000) i had to give something it would not let me post but Hell NO! ( NO STARS!)

This definitely felt like a production line of dermatologists. They pack the waiting room to the brim. Once youre there you are handed an iPad for completing Patient info and of course payor source info. Youll wait at least half an hour, if youre lucky. After an arduous long wait youre then directed to the patient examination room where youll be waiting another half an hour. Finally, an unpleasant and unfriendly physician will glance at you briefly but too busy checking out your payor source most likely and will barely giving you another glance. Hell prescribe the standard meds which any schmuck can do and then will attempt to market their own products. At best, 2 minutes will be spent with you. Youll feel raped of your time. I could have saved two hours of my time and asked a friend to prescribe me the same meds. Will never go back here again.

Physician is good. However, it was a bad post visit. They charged me for visits that I wasnt there for. I have had psoriasis all my life and they wont give me a refill unless I make an annual visit. The first girl I spoke to said its state law that I have to come back to see the doctor to get a refill. The nurse that called me back said its their policy. This tells me that nobody knows and its the doctors discretion but they want me to pay them more is what it really boils down to so I can get more cream for my psoriasis. For a $10 tube of cream for my skin I have to spend a big copay and 20% deductible on my awful health insurance because of the doctors discretion to charge me again. This should be illegal. I recommend going elsewhere. They care more about your money and your health is secondary.

This is a horrible practice. From the operators to the Doctor all you get is nasty attitudes because all you want is for them to do their job. Not to mention the girl checking you in, doesnt even say hello. Called to check on the status of a prior auth for my medication and the operator said "its not done yet, theyll get to it eventually" Seriously?! My medication is time sensitive so they should have gotten to it the day they received it. Very unknowledgeable Doctors, they rely on medical assistants to give them answers. Nothing is done in a timely manner, phone calls are never returned. Being in the medical field and seeing the HIPPA violations and the patient care they give, let me say this is completely unacceptable. Worst practice. Completely disappointed.

Perfect example of why people complain about the healthcare system. Ive visited this office over 5 times, each time the doctor is at least 30 minutes late for my appointment and Ive had experiences of an hour and 90 minutes late. From there the doctor (all of them Ive worked with them all) rushes into the room, reads your history like they are Jonny 5 from short circuit and gets you on your way ASAP with little attention paid to your comments or concerns. This office makes it clear that there are there to make money from you and have no thoughts about actually resolving your issue or helping you get better. As a final insult, they try to sell you their own in-house skincare products on the way out. What a joke.

I dont know why this doctor gets negative ratings. My husband I and have been going to him for over six years. He is an excellent doctor really knows his stuff. My husband had a scare and I would not have wanted to be under any other dermatogist care except for Dr. Groisser. He explained everything to us and we felt very confident in him. Ok, he did not spend an hour holding our hands, and I guess thats why hes gotten a couple of negative reviews. I would rather have a doctor who is excellent at medicine and not so great at babysitting than the other way around. We would highly recommend Dr. Groisser and his staff.
