I have been a client of Designer Optical for about 2 and 1/2 years now and I have Medicaid. I have found the Doctor and staff to be very courtesy, helpful and respectful every time I go to see them. Not once have they ever disrespect me in any way or the fact that I have Medicaid. It is sad that people go out their way to discredit and ruin a business because they are rude, impatient and walk around like the world owes them something just because they exist. I honestly believe that NO, the customers not always right! Hardly ever! They are here to provide a service to the community and as we all know, you give an inch, theyll take a yard. People need to understand that every business we go to works to provide a service and not to pamper your whims. You take care of them and theyll take care of you. If business werent here for us, wed all be screwed! Learn to appreciate business that are here to help us and services us and get that bat out your Arses already!

The best optical place Ive ever been to. They were so helpful & they care not like the other eye places in Getty square. The store was SPOTLESS!!!! They gave me an excellent eye exam with an awesome machine. My husband and I are returning Wednesday. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THE DISGUSTING EYE PLACE DOWN THE STREET THEY TELL YOU "WE ARE THE ONLY ONES TO ACCEPT MEDICADE" THEY ARE LIARS! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO DOESNT SPEAK ENGLISH well. Designer Optical TAKES MEDICADE, SPEAKS SPANISH & DOESNT ASKFOR YOUR CARD WHEN YOU WALK IN (THE OTHER STORE DOES, I WAS THERE TGIS IS THE TRUTH" BOTTOM LINE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WITH KINDNESS - RESOECT & NOT GET RIPPED OFF GO TO DESIGNER OPTICAL AGAIN MEDICADE HUDSON HEALTH SMP IS ACCEPTED. THEY ARE A HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM.

I usually dont go out my way to write reviews but after my experience at Designer Optical i feel compelled to share my experience. The optical down the block treated me and my family as if we were not worth their time and spoke to me and my husband with an attitude pressuring us to look at overpriced frames so after 30 minutes we left to designer optical and IM SO GLAD WE DID! The staff at designer optical were so courteous and Welcoming and worked with our budget and really had an AWESOME selection of frames. I recommend this place to everyone i know. If you want good prices and want to feel welcomed and respected i recommend designer optical !

I just tried to make an appointment going off of other reviews about they accept medicaid and are nice and repectful. Well call number one they hung up on me as soon as I said medicaid. So tried a second time, they answered after 6 rings and told me they absolutely Do Not Accept Medicaid. So yeah, not going there.

Designer Optical in Getty Square is honestly the BEST. They were very welcoming and kind. I appreciate there service and they have very reasonable prices. I left satisfied and happy :)
