The assisting staff was excellent. The dentist, not so much. My husband had a bite wing and panoramic exray done, the dentist came in used the mirror and said, "sir, you need to see an oral surgeon to have all 8 of your molars removed. Ill give you a referral." No explanation of why they couldnt or wouldnt pull the tooth that was plaguing my husband. No option for pain relief. Then we had to pay over $300. Meanwhile, my husband was supposed to live in pain for 2 weeks before the oral surgeon had an opening. I didnt appreciate the brush off. I found him another dentist who not only explained the situation with the one tooth, but all 8 AND offered him immediate pain relief. Oh, and WNC Dental somehow "forgot" how to email exrays. If you are looking for a "brush off" this place is for you.

I cant believe that after being an established patient for years they would tell me I was not welcome anymore. I called to schedule an appointment and they told me that since I had more than three missed appointments in my lifetime that I can no longer be a patient there. They literally told me I can no longer receive services from their office. So I literally told them that it would be just fine after realizing how many dentist are in Asheville. I was pretty shocked at first, that they would just tell someone that they werent welcome anymore. In all honesty it is for the best. They can have their crass rules and policies. I will move on to a dentist that wants to treat me not one I have to convince to be seen.

Dr. Ludwig is the most compassionate dentist Ive dealt with in my 41 years on this earth. I almost fainted having a few teeth removed and I felt like it was in a spa literally. It was not because of anything they did I am just fatigued easily in the dental chair. Dr. Ludwig and her assistant were very patient with me and got my body temperature lowered and me feeling great in no time. I really appreciate the The empathy and gentle touch with respect to the professionalism that she and her team bring to the table. Highly recommended! GJE

I cant say enough about this office. Everyone was friendly, efficient and very professional. The front desk gals knew all about my insurance and even gave me information that was educational. The gals in the back along with the doctors were gentle and kind. This is my kind of dental office. Im going to recommend them to all my co-workers.

Like most people, Im always a bit nervous going to the dentist. Since I recently moved here, I was more nervous than usual. Not to worry, i was treated with professional courtsey and typical North Carolina charm. The office is large but well maintained and perhaps I will have more to say after my first cleaning.

This office is clean and the staff are nice. They are great with my kids, but sadly theyve changed their policy about flouride. They will not take any patients who refuse flouride. Such a shame that such a great office isnt up on the current research and is pushing something that is toxic to our children.

Dr. OKane is a life saver. He went above and beyond to help me in an EMERGENCY situation. I started using WNC Dental, because the office was less then a mile from where we lived. We moved 30 mins away but I wouldnt go ANYWHERE ELSE. They are Great !!!
