I was very dissatisfied with my previous primary care office in Knightdale. I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Adams at the UNC/REX family practice and I am very glad that I did! The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. The nurse that took me back, Michelle was sweet, attentive and funny! She was thorough but quick and was very gentle in giving me a flu shot. Dr. Adams came in the room less than two minutes later! He actually listened! He didnt pacify me with "mmhms" while pretending to be interested in my concerns. He addressed all of my questions and elaborated and even gave me some new interesting insight into my medical issues. Dr. Adams instantly made me feel comfortable and important. You can tell Dr. Adams loves his profession and cares for his patients. I would recommend him to anyone.

Im shocked that there are even bad reviews here. Maybe the wait time has increased because they were voted best in the Triangle and have more patients. I have had nothing but positive experiences with their office. Dr. Adams takes time to listen and is up to date on the latest treatments. Hes very smart and is easy to talk to. I love "country doctor with 21st century way of thinking." His office staff has always been friendly and also seem well informed. The only time Ive had to wait was during flu season when everyone in Wake County was sick. Id recommend him to anyone.

I too have had a very favorable experience at Family Practice. I think many people focus on the negative and are far to quick to speak before thinking. I have been treated quickly and respectfully each time I have visited. Their office is very clean and their staff is very friendly. I would refer this business to anybody. Please disregard the negative comments here. I have seen NO evidence of any of them.

My family can recommend Dr. Adams to anyone looking for great, knowledgable, prompt medical care. We drive over 70 miles each way for appointments and have been with him for several years. He is someone you can trust.

Freedom is a choice

This has to be the worst Dr office. Spent two weeks waiting on this place to send a refural over to a specialist, several phone calls to the office. And still waiting. What a joke. Extremely disappointed.
