I recently found a stray kitten and had taken her in, unsure if I would keep her or try to find a new home for her. As we have four other cats in the house and unsure what health problems she may have, I had been keeping her in a bathroom, away from the other kitties. Since I got off work early today and hadnt had time to take her to the vet yet, I figured Id just drop in and see if theyd be able to take me. The receptionist wasnt friendly at all. She seemed annoyed that I hadnt called to make an appointment. She only spoke to me enough to fill in the computerized information they needed and tell me theyd call me when they had a room ready. The vet techs were friendly. The vet only came in to talk to me for 10 minutes and tell me the Feline Leaukemia test was negative and that the kitten seemed to have a skin infection usually gotten from scratching with fleas. I told them Id given her Capstar to combat the fleas. They didnt really respond to that and suggested an injectable anti-bacterial for her skin. Id specifically told the recetionist that I thought she had tapeworms (Ive had experience with them in the last kitten Id gotten and recognized the little white worm-like thing around the new kittens anus), but none of the vet techs or vet mentioned it so I brought it up with the vet. She responded by saying theyd treat that too and leaving. The vet techs came back a bit later and gave the kitten the shots Id agreed to, a free dose of Revolution, and a "new cat kit" which was less than informative for someone with four other cats and obviously sponsored by Revolution. When I left, the receptionist again didnt really speak to me much except to tell me my total and hand me my receipt and paperwork. All in all, I was less than happy with the the treatment I received. The vet Id been to previously has set my pet care standards higher than what was provided today and I will not be returning here.

Highly dissappointed with this practice. A few years back I tried them out after just moving to Leland. I stopped going there after several visits of unsatisfactory practices. I decided after 5 years and after being told by several people that the practice had changed to give them a shot with a foster needing shots. When I set up my appointment I was very clear with what I needed. I also explaind that I worked with a non profit rescue so our funds are limited. The information given to me worked within my budget. Well, I was given misinformation on the phone and ended up having to spend more money than quoted. And the woman that provided the information to me refused to take responsibility for any information she provided. Mind you, after paying they informed me I could have received a discount if I provided my rescue organizations 501c3 registration. After becoming even more upset I asked to speak with the manager, and was told there was no manager, just the owner and he wasnt in. So I asked for his name and phone number, and she said she could give me his name but would not provide his phone number. She did however give me a card with the general email address for the practice, which will serve absolutely no purpose. So they hand me a HAND WRITTEN health certificate and tell ME to fill out the information. (Not exactly sure who was working here), and proceeds to try to school me and proper documentation. At that point I walked out. No more. This place exactly the same. Staff with no personality, no welcoming warmth, and 0 acceptance of responsilbility. At least THIS TIME they didnt drag my dog down a hallway by his leash as he laid on the floor.

Leland Vet. Hospital has by far some of the best Vets and staff I have ever encountered! In my travels I have used vets all over the east coast from CT to FL and the staff here have exceeded every expectation! They are not only talented as Vets they are kind and genuine humans who truly care about how your pets are doing. They do not try to squeeze money out of you and they do not over medicate! They are so understanding and fair in every aspect! Lately I have been having some major issues with my 14 year old pit and they have been able to get us in to see a Vet within 10-20 min of me calling! They are great for routine care and unbeatable for urgent care! I am so thankful to have found this Vet Hospital upon moving to the area and I highly recommend them to everyone !

I have taken my fur babies to Leland Veterinary hospital for 6 years now (ever since I first got them). Dr. Brazik has always taken great care of my pups and he is the "dog whisperer" of Leland Vet! My babies are usually very skiddish of strangers, especially men, but they love him to pieces...cant wait to see him and crawl in his lap for kisses. Dr. Brazik is amazing, as well as Hope, Candy, Chrissy, Dr. Collier and other techs. Great job Leland Veterinary Hospital, and thank you for taking such loving great care of my babies!

Never Going Back. I went to have my dog looked at, as it had hair patches missing. I knew there was probably nothing they could do, which I was right about. The doctor came in and literally said 5 words to me "she is most likely allergic to flea bites" well...duh.. they offered no solution. Nothing. Went to check out and was charged $75!! for literally nothing. Receptionist rudely stated any time the dr goes into the room its $60.99 as that is why they went to vet school"

I have been taking my dogs to Leland Veterinary Hospital for many years, from puppyhood to senior care to most recently end of life. Words cannot express my appreciation for how we were treated on that heartbreaking day. Dr. Claypool and staff guided us through this difficult time with great compassion and caring. Everyone went above and beyond to treat me and my little girl, Tessa with dignity and kindness.

I have been taking my dogs and cats to Leland Veterinary Hospital for years. The staff has always treated me well and the girls up front are helpful and considerate. Drs. Brazik and Claypool are very knowledgeable and seem to care about my pets as much as I do. It might be a little more expenisve but it is worth every penny. I will never take my pets anywhere else. I highly recommend these guys to anybody.

My dog had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brazick removing an obstruction he had from eating a corn on the cob. Another vet office wanted to wait until the next day but they felt it was more urgent and acted quickly to save my dogs life. Forever grateful for their entire staff. The groomer Chrissy also does an amazing job!!

They are such wonderful people who truly care about and always remember your pets. My mini doxie was having back spasms for two hours before they opened, they rushed us in and took care of him right away. Truly wonderful people and were blessed to have them in our community.
